I am the same hon, was tackled by a snooty sounding lady at BeautyUK who thought my nail varnish was to die for and needed it now until I explained it was Miss Sporty from Boots.

Ohhhh I went into Claire's Accessories today and was confronted by their nail polish stand....OMG...glitters in every colour you could want, big flakes little flakes some little straight bits, shiny non shiny pastels brights....I could spend 50 pounds in there easily...I only bought one though-a clear polish with tiny glittery bits that turn blue when the light hits them-lushDebts Jan 2014 £20,108.34

Hi,
I'm usually just a reader of this thread but I clicked the linkand found the Hunger Games polish!!! I nearly bought this last night on Amazon but the pics weren't very good so I decided against it... although now I'm really trying not to buy it as I'm pretty skint
And thank god I'm broke because theres a complete Hunger games set for £60ish!!
But while I'm here can anyone recomend a good but fairly cheap top coat. I'll need one to top the Hunger Games polish I'm about to buy..... SOMEONE STOP ME PLEASE!!Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
I hate, hate, hate Nicole by Opi bottles!! Why are they such a stupid shape?! I can't fit them nicely in to anything. But they're such gorgeous colours....:j0

Thought I'd post here as well as Beauty deals thread:
I bought maybelline polishes in sainsburys yesterday for 50p; colours I got were rose poudre and midnight red. They also had a Rimmel polish for £1.35; the colour I got was a purple-fushia- I don't remember the name.Quidco: 999.76 cash back so far!0 -

We're all Seche Vite fans here. Not cheap but definitely worth it. Alternatively, I use Sally Hansen Insta Dri Anti Chip Top Coat (red bottle) which is a bit cheaper and just as good. They usually stock it in Boots for around £6.
Or there's this... http://www.fragrancedirect.co.uk/sally-hansen/sally-hansen-dry-kwik-nail-colour-dryer-133ml/invt/0029563/ ...not tried this one but SH stuff is usually pretty good.0 -
I buy my Seche Vite through ebay from US sellers, it tends to arrive fairly quickly and I think I paid £8 for two bottles or there abouts.0

Is it a linear pattern you are doing? like stripes? If it is then you need to go along the stripe, not across it if that makes sense, or the scraper will go in the ridges and take the polish out?
No, it was a spots pattern. I just wonder if its because I wasn't using proper stamping polish, just normal nails inc polish? Could that be it, or am I just crap!! :rotfl::p0
