I'm still feeling out of sorts, it's really getting me down.

    Get better vibes for Everyone.

LW - my DH prefers osteopaths to work in his dodgy back over physiotherapists. He thinks they look at the bigger pictu, not just the place of pain. Most physiotherapist practices have one on their books. I know you don't like strangers but I urge you to persevere to hopefully get your shoulder more mobile. I wish you lived nearer me as I know a lovely lady who treats DH.

I need to sleep again - I've tired myself out ironing this morning.

    Afternoon all

I've done the bathroom/toilet this morning, two loads of washing (towels out on the line) and been out for my walk.

Now just fretting about the possibility of snow.

Thursday's list all done - just need to list a few items on ebay later (my frog - keep putting it off :o)

Had a lovely walk with my friend and think I saw a woodpecker - I'm no expert on birds; is it a bright green/yellow and a quite big bird? It was flying around some farm land in the countryside.

Had to give in and put the heating on as it's ffffffreezing in here and I've now got to sit still and type another survey - got a cup of tea to warm my hands up a bit. Had to turn the audio up loud as got the Council outside - they're got a tree crusher machine thingy going as they're clearing up some waste land around the back of the houses and it's so noisy; got a right old headache.

By the way, I've been prescribed sleeping pills by the GP as not sleeping - has anyone taken them before and do they have any affect on you (apart from making you sleep at bedtime that is?)

Mumto5, so sorry you're still ill. Have the blood test results come in yet? Just rest as much as you can - everything else will have to wait.

Wolfie, I'd definitely see someone about your shoulder. I don't see an osteopath but I see a lovely lady who works on you without you knowing it by very gently moving muscles with her fingers. She's helped me loads with my dodgy back. Mr LW can always come in with you; I know you find it hard with strangers sweetie but I'm sure it'd help you.

Must get on .... want to try and grab 10 minutes to myself before fetching the monsters from school. Planning to do some baking when they get home; must be mad !

Mumof2 that definitely sounds like a Green Woodpecker to me.:o
Here's the RSPB page on them:
    http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/birdguide/name/g/greenwoodpecker/index.aspx

I've done a Google search for osteopaths in our area, and am totally confused - there are a few female ones, but they don't show prices or opening hours on their websites. If they don't do evenings, I'm kinda stuck, as Mr LW will have to take me.

I think we'll have Mr LW ask his mates A and P if they have any knowledge first off, as I'd sooner go to someone who comes recommended. We'll be having A over for the evening probably next week, in any case, or Mr LW can email him.

ETA: Well done to Master Moneypenny.:o

  • I haven't been feeling well this week so not a lot of flying done, just need to catch up in time for half term :s

LW my DS is seeing an osteopath now after seeing the physio. She was working on his muscles to loosen them, Osteo said this was not a great idea as they were tight to support the shoulder joint at the muscles which should be doing this were not strong enough. Osteo has done no 'work' on his other than initial strength testing but has given exercises which have worked very well. The one he sees is in Hatfield (but does do St Albans too) but I know this will be too far for you (and he's male). Good luck and it is fine to see several different ones until you find one you like.

Congratulations to your DS and well done for going and having your lump checked, I'm glad all is well.

I've not got far today but I'll update ,my list whilst the floor is drying. Kids should be home any minute.

  • afternoon all!

Well I have abandoned this week - DD2 started to up chuck last night - and just kept going.......

So I spent the night with her and DD1 slept on the floor downstairs! Needless to say I didn't get much sleep.

i didn't go to work - she was still being sick and i wasn't leaving her.

So I have caught up on some sleep and am about to attack the kitchen and bathroom - that's it so far!

Piggers hope you and the rest of the poorlies are feeling better....
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
