Mrs MoneyPenny you are not a lost cause, but I think you may be my lost identical twin!

I'm sure we will both win through in the end

    Morning all

I've vacuumed through downstairs and washed the kitchen floor. Light snow here overnight but it's melting now (thank you). Not going to chance taking a walk today though, that would be tempting fate, I'll wait until I have to go to work tonight.

I've been tidying out some drawers again, including mostly emptying one in my chest of drawers which is stuck, but I can't see why. Just a tin which has receipts in that I can't get out but I know that's not heavy so I don't think that's the problem. Who knows? Bit annoying though.

Birds all fed and watered and making lots of happy chirping noises :)
  • polly bear if the drawer is able to be taken out you could try rubbing a white wax candle along the runners to see if that helps, if you mean its rambed in and cant be taken out is there something in the draweer above or below that slipped downthe back and is stopping it there.
my cutlery drawer sometimes jams if a knife or fork tilt up and stop it opening, i have to close the drawer and only open it a little pulling it backwards and forwards to shake the item free.

I can't take it out, it gets stuck halfway. I've tried peering in to see if something is making it stick and I've emptied the drawers above and below and can't see anything over the back. Will have to make DH have a look over the weekend. He'll like that......

Clouded over here again. Snow has melted from the path and driveway but still on the cars - I'll remove that after lunch so they are clear for tomorrow.

Upstairs all done now bar out bedroom which I'm leaving until tomorrow.

I must do an hour paperwork now.

Just started snowing again here :( but luckily it looks like lazy snow that can't be bothered to pitch. Fingers crossed.

Been sorting out paperwork and money, got a headache now!

Gill I've already "met" you on the Daily thread, great to see you here also. Like others have said, don't try to do it all at once.;)

I actually work from my own lists, as it suits me better (and I don't have children, so a lot of the jobs don't apply to me:D) and just join in here for the company/friendship/inspiration.:o

  • Hellooooo!

There are 3 levels per day with Level 1 being very basic, level 2 in the middle, up to 3 which is more advanced and time consuming. Feel free to mix and match to suit your own personal circumstances.

Every room comes back around next week so please don’t stress about catching up

These lists are only suggestions and not a must do list; you are more than welcome to post and follow your own lists.

I've decided to take this very good advice and make the lists work for me rather than beat myself up when I cant do it all. What with more responsibility at work:j, training for the South Wales 3 Peaks:o and doing an awful lot of cadet work:eek:, I am wearing myself out, eating too much and generally not achieving a good balance in my life.

Which - of course - has a negative impact!

Obviously I do really appreciate the lists that are posted as a great deal of work goes into them and I will use bits from them! :T

Thank you flyladies, you all rock!

    1 step closer
If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
    I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome! :p
