    Happy Birthday Natty.

I have (hopefully) the carpenter here this weekend to replace the spare room floor. So I have emptied all the stuff that was in there into the bedroom, study and bathroom. I have lots of stuff downstairs to put way in the shed/charity shop/bin. The heating will probably have to be off all day, as they will be in and out, so I will light the firre in the sitting room and camp in there to get ahead on work for next week.

However, I also plan to use the time to get the shed, kitchen and utility room sorted out, washing done and various other jobs off my list. I forgot to buy more pipe lagging, so may have to go out and get some of that at some point, so we can get them done while the floor is up!

ETA - so much for reliability... They said 8am start, and there is no sign of anyone at 8.30, and they obviously can't use the phone either. I guess I'll have to call if they don't get here soon. Bins done, recycling done, hoover emptied, tools put in shed. Need to brave the cold again in a minute to get washing powder and liquid refills from the shed...
  • Morning everyone,

    Welcome new people :hello: x

Greenbee Hope the floor guys have turned up x

Been busy this morning, new car has been for it's MOT and it passed with flying colours, first time I've EVER had one go straight through so yay :T done some washing, tidying and fed the cat and us.

Today I'll be mostly pottering in the house but going down town to M&S for tonight's tea and tomorrows dinner cos DD1's coming for a few hours and we always go somewhere lol

Going to get the hoover out now and brandish it about the ground floor, actually I lie it's already upstairs so I'll do that first, may as well seeing as I'll be up there anyway.
