    Good morning all xx
I had a text and phone call yesterday and they want someone extra permanantley for breakfast club.....nearly doubles my wages at the moment!!! Bonus, although some of the staff (same as lunchtime) can be a pain..........1 girl today came into school in her tracksuit as they are playing football. She didn't realise that she was supposed to bring it with her and wear her uniform, anyway, she was worried about getting into trouble and I tried to reassure her and one of the other staff said that it wasn't our problem, we are just there to do breakfast club!!!

Ok, rant over..........quick cuppa and on with the lists and then over to Mums............xx

    Morning all

Tooch great news on the extra work

Natty thanks for the birds update. We have two new flocks on the block - one of redwings and a smaller one of fieldfares. I love seeing birds who are usually absent or shy, long tailed tits, wrens, mistle thrush and at the weekend a woodpecker in the tree next door.

Nanamia Well done on the progress on your craft table

Winchelsea well done on being brave and I hope the outcome is positive

Pigpen healing vibes for your and squeak

kazmeister well done on all the decluttering

ajmoney - follow your heart sweetie

Ed update - sorry no good news :( The latest I heard yesterday was that Dad and sisters had been called up to the hospital (a good 3 hour drive from home) as things were not looking good :(

I need to spend a big chunk of the day doing paperwork but I'm going to start with a HHC to do my dailies at 10:15
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
  • I'll join you dusty in a HHC - I have a dental appointment at lunchtime (only one I could get) so working from home on my NVQ stuff, flying a bit inbetween and generally catching up.

    HHC - laundry & hoovering I think.

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowgo - well done on tackling the window cleaner. I think we've all probably been in that situation at one time or another.

Wolfy posi-vibes for aj. I know the dog-eat-dog scenario - it was like that where I worked, which contributed in some measure to my MH problems. I hope you can find a good solution for you very swiftly.

Natty good to see you back -I too have missed the avian news bulletins, so it was lovely to read your post.

Whole bungalow is gleaming (for now) apart from the loo and sink, which I shall go and scrub in a moment. Mr LW helped me dust/polish everywhere yesterday afternoon, as my shoulder is still no better.

He's offered to pay for me to see an osteopath, but a) I don't know what's actually wrong, so don't know if it would do any good, and b) I don't know of one to see, and no idea how to go about finding one. I think Mr LW's going to ask his pals if they know of a good one, to start with.

Piggers I hope your poor face is a little better by now. I sympathise - I too didn't see a fang farrier for donkeys years, then when I finally had no choice (ie whisky didn't help the toothache) I opted to have the whole darn lot removed and have done with! It must be even more of a pain if you can't swallow tablets.

OK, I'm off for some one-handed bog-brush wielding.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
