Afternoon all :D Sorry for disappearing big time from the thread, I've only been able to cope with one thing at a time and have been going through a bipolar relapse over the last 10 months - didn't realise it at the time but after several people telling me what I was up to it sank in.. Not to worry I'll get there :D You all know me - a fighter:j Although at the moment the fight has gone out of me..lol

Slowly picking the pieces up from the consequences of the relapse, but I'll get there with a bit of help from friends and DH. Hopefully it won't happen again for a long time.. Well I suppose one thing it does highlight the fact that I am still a long way from being better.

I have been reading the thread now and again, and the house is starting to regain shape again. Well downstairs is, upstairs is a work in progress..lol I'm also getting back into writing my lists again, but they are small baby lists at the moment as my normal ones are too much to handle with at the moment.

And guess what? I actually made a cake yesterday afternoon :j Which pleased DH as he is in love with this one - a spiced fruit bread pudding :D

So sorry I haven't caught up with what's what, and missed birthdays and baby births etc..

Anyway onto the lists, and I won't beat myself up over not getting them done if I feel too overwhelmed.

Having a very quiet day after yesterday's bug - I can't go back to work until tomorrow so have been resting today.

Still very cold here - ground is lethal to walk on.

Natty - good to see you back!

Has anybody got a good tip for removing black mould from the corners of ceilings above the windows?
I second Dustyk's recommendation, it's good stuff. Also, I think I remember Kim & Aggie suggesting bleach & bio washing powder in some hot water as well, I used it on DD's window frames once & it worked well.

    Hello ladies,

thanks for the get well wishes, I'm still feeling very out of sorts but have managed to wash all my hard floors today and hover the LR and stairs. I've also cleaned the bathroom - I've done this every day as I can't get rid of the smell of the toxic chemicals that were put in the ailing hot water tank. I'm going to burn one of my smelly Jamie Oliver candles later to see if it makes any difference.

I'm sorry to read so many ladies and LO's are under the weather. I wish you all much better soon.

It's lovely to see Natty post. I'm another one who misses the birdie tales.

My casserole has half an hour to go so I'm off to peel some potatoes for some comforting mash.
