Has anybody got a good tip for removing black mould from the corners of ceilings above the windows? I've tried mould remover, bleach and various other household cleaners and have got 50% off but struggling with the last bit. The house never used to get it before we had the cavities filled but now it seems to be spreading!

    Good morning all xx
Day off today but I need to pop into college as I haven't signed one of the declaration forms or numbered the pages on an assignment!! College is in Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd and tutor is only available from 2-5....I need to pick up DD here at 3 and take her to Pontypridd for a netball match at 3:30.........I could go to college after taking her but all the other Mum's will be there watching and the traffic around Ponty will be awful at that time !!! Hey ho.

I have done a couple of bits so far this morning.....Desk is tidier and a hotspot from the kitchen has been cleared.
I have been looking for a sideboard or cabinet for shoes and gibble.....cheapest I can find at the mo is about £100.........so I thought I would just get rid of gibble I have in various baskets and use them instead.....I'm sure once I go through the shoes then the baskets will be sufficient.

Ok enough babbling, HHC at 11????????? Join me if you can xx

Tomorrow if no better I will be going through my stuff although going the whole hog and chucking it out will be hard as I sorted a load a while ago but couldnt go the final fling but I really need to get rid. Hopefully will catch up and let you know how I get on then.
Come on kazm remember Wolfy's Mantra:
If in doubt, turf it out!.;)

Thanks for all the hugs'n'licks (you're a brave lady, Piggers):D

Sadly, the shoulder's no better, however Mr LW is wfh today, and he's kindly volunteered to grab a duster this afternoon and help me dust the whole bungalow, so he'll lift the heavier ornaments (mainly Dragons) that I can't currently lift.:A

We also need to do a quick run to Mr T's as I need some bits for the freezer; that's the only thing I can't ask Mr LW to get in his lunch break at work, as there's nowhere for him to store frozens.

I also have a bunch of membership cards to post out, that I did yesterday (not CAMRA I hasten to add - another organisation I do voluntary paperwork for, and who actually appear to appreciate my efforts);)

I've just put a Shepherd Spy in the oven, so we'll be having that for dins in a bit, and there's enough for tomorrow, when Mr LW's on late shift.:o

Wolfy healing vibes to all who need then, and happy vibes to all who are not feeling at their jolliest just now.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Hi folks, I am going to attempt to do more in the study/den/dump. Yesterday I cleared a bit more so it is possible to move around in there.

I have just washed some new born vests and they are hanging on the airer.:D

I tried to hang a white duvet cover from the cottage on the line, I even wiped the line before hand. And when I tried to throw the cover over the line I immediately saw a dirty mark on the duvet cover, so back in the wash it goes. This time I have wiped the line with a microfibre cloth. I know I will be in bother when DH and DS1 get home for even trying but I do love the smell of outside dried bedding.

All the pegs are soaking in the sink, tempted to chuck them in the DW. How do you clean your clothes pegs?

LW I am going to follow your matra today as I really need to make space on the shelves for business files and not ancient books. Some are pre 1920! No one in this house is ever going to read them.Maybe I could use them to keep the house warm ??:rotfl:
