Mrs-moneypenny you said in your post that you were making hobnobs....can I have the recipe please? I love them but they tend to be at the expensive end of the biscuit world!Every act of kindness, no matter how small, isn’t wasted ❤️

i use the twinks hobnobs recipie from the monthly grocery challenge thread there are 100s of brilliant recipices in there.this is the recipe i use
8oz sr flour
8oz sugar
8oz porridge oats
8oz margarine
1tbsp golden syrup
1tbsp hot water
1/2 tsp bic soda
mix flour, oats and sugar, melt marg, syrup and water in a pan stir in bic soda and add to dry mix, mix well, make smallish balls and put on greased tray and flatten slightly with a fork, 180oc for 15 mins, cool on the tray, you just want them golden in oven not brown
8ozs = 225 grams
ive made variations by mixing in cranberries ive soaked in orange juice or you can drizzle melted choc over them once they are cooled.
they really are nice i cant keep up with the amount my family get through.SPC~12 ot 124

Well in my HHC I managed to:
Clean the hob
Wipe down the surfaces in the kitchen and dining area
S&S the downstairs loo
Clear a hotspot (top of the fridge = bane of my life)
Put on a load of washing
NB: the stuff from the hotspot is in a carrier bag. I'm sulking about OH always putting his junk there. Once I've stoppoed sulking I'll rehome everything
Now got to iron a few bits for tomorrow then put my feet up. Cuppa anyone ??Part time GCer, NSDer, Comper and (Bad)Flylady

Evening
More poorlies needing hugs and peeps with work woes needing hugs too (aj especially). DH and I have both been at home today with grumbly tumblys and looks like we will both be off tomorrow as well
but as we were home I decided we were going to start to declutter some of the bags and boxes of old clothes we have stashed away in the bedroom. We have only done his so far but have got 4 bags for the air ambulance and charity shop, 3 bags of rubbish and 1 of recycling, oh and of course we, correction I have had a good laugh at some of the stuff he'd kept, and I have finally managed to get him to throw the 1970's brown leather jacket thats too small even though he offered it for my 19 year old DS  . Tomorrow if no better I will be going through my stuff although going the whole hog and chucking it out will be hard as I sorted a load a while ago but couldnt go the final fling but I really need to get rid. Hopefully will catch up and let you know how I get on then. Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
