  • The new grocery thing is also on TCB and it looks a pain in the wotsit at the moment! I can't do check ins on my phone but DH can but we keep forgetting :o. Really must remember.

Went to Sainsbo's on Thursday and got petrol first, gave me a total spend and another product bonus point voucher plus I alsready had another one so got over 900 points in one visit :D

Hi luckynumber13, that's a great haul of points you got there! I love when you can use the vouchers immediately, as it means you are defeating their purpose of getting you to come back and spend more!

Started reading the TCB cashback instructions and have decided its too much effort! £cos seems a bit better, but I doubt I'll buy things just for cashback, might see if anything I usually buy is mentioned and try it out, but I definitely won't be planning my grocery shop around it.

OH sorted out car insurance: saved £20 off renewal by comparing against a new customer quote with the same company! Still every little helps :)

Spent the morning making gallons of soup to freeze for lunches. Will be saving my lunch money for a big(ger) treat per month instead of a small overpriced chocolate treat per working day!

  • Same here with work - trouble is I'm self employed and a lot of it is work to get new work so I can start paying off my debts and start to pay a bit extra on my mortgage each month.

  • Hi OS, hope you managed to get a break at the weekend. The weather has been lovely here, nice to feel like spring is on its way.

Hiya luckynumber13, I had a good weekend- learned to rock climb :) scary stuff, but I eventually got the hang of it! Hoping to go once a week to spend time with OH plus get away from work at a reasonable time. The weather was lovely and hope you enjoyed it. Can't wait to get out and potter in the garden :)

Work is still manic, but hopefully there's light at the end of the tunnel. I love being busy and strangely enjoy scoring things off my to do list, but there's only so much I can do. Unfortunately I don't get paid for overtime which just rubs salt in it!

Got some payouts and due another one this week, only a couple of quid but it all adds up. Need to update the mfw2013 and get in gear for the first update for mfi3 in march.

Looking forward to the weekend as I'm working away from home on Friday and Monday so have managed to tie in with seeing friends and family :D

  • Rock climbing sounds like fun.

I had ot go on a course for CPD for one of my jobs. I was the only person there not being paid for the day - DH is still fuming now but if I sk for any money they will say there is none and the course was free (even though they didn't have to pay for it either). Some times it so hard to get that balance, although all I could think about was how much I could have charged another client for a days work if I had been free :(

  • Hi OS, have you tried the new scan and save for TCB and £co. They have both got the receipt system working so you can just scan it into your computer and then upload. I did the spend £10 on fuel get £2 back on TCB and scanned it in and uploaded on one day, the next day the cashback was available for payout!

I've got some receipts in for £co as well. They have got offers going back to early feb that dont close until tomorrow so if you have any old receipts you can try and get the cashback!

Hi LN13, hope you had a good weekend. I'm off to bed soon as I had a very tiring but good weekend with friends & family.

I'm a convert to the snap & save TCB! It's so easy with the app. I also scored the £2 with the petrol deal, and will definitely check my receipts against the list in the app :) however I must admit to being put off with the hassle of having to take separate photos and uploading on the computer for £co - is it worth it? TCB is almost effortless using the phone.

Total February OPs are £846.55! Very pleased! But doubt will manage so much next month with the car needing its service, MOT and tax! I have some money saved, but doubt its enough  March is also the month we've to cough up for the gr££nbelt factoring. So £120 for that

Feb has been a lovely and quick month, wish more were like it :)

  • Sounds like you are making the most of your weekends!

TCB has already put another £1.25 in my payable column. £co are still showing as awaiting review. They are just soooooo slow at anything nowadays. TCB are much easier and also tend to have the better payout figures too.

With £co I just scanned the receipt into the computer and then used the same scan to upload to both sites. You can use the same receipt for more than one item but if you can't scan it in one go or if it is double sided like sainsbo you need to scan and upload both sides.

I originally took a photo but then saw about scanning it, which is really easy for me as its all set up in my home office :D.

I really want to start ops on the mortgage as we need to pay enough to reduce it by one year so it finished before we are 50. Any more than that is not looking likely due to income but anything now is better than nothing as the interest should start to reduce.
