Just nipping in to log this months OP. £540 this month. :j
Really pleased cos I've bumped up our monthly payments into our billing account by £20 each/ month, and now we've got a nice little 'pot' to pay the house insurance next month. OH was most impressed as he hadn't realised w were overpaying into the billing account tooMortgage debt : -£17,000

It's turned really cold
seen the gritters out at night recently and the car's been frozen of a morning
Had the heating on quite a bit too. OH working away today and all weekend, so am arming myself with a list of chores to get ready for the winter:
- freezer inventory
- store cupboard sort out
- clean stone kitchen floor and put down winter rugs
- get out throws, etc
- Beds have already got winter duvet on for past fortnight!
- Clear out garage (again!) for buying in winter food, etc
Oh and also have to add to my list a huge basket of ironing... Just to keep things funMortgage debt : -£17,000

I've managed to avoid all my chores!!! :rotfl:
Though I have managed to catch up with the x-factor and clean out my dwarf hammy and gerbil. I love watching them explore and play with new stuff after their weekly clean
and I've managed to do 3 surveys...and got screened out 3/4s the way through on 2 :mad:Mortgage debt : -£17,000

well seems EDF have finally sorted everything out and are now going to switch both my gas and elec supplies.....at one point they tried switching my neighbours gas and my elec!!
Im not at all impressed with the amount of phone calls and effort I had to put in to get us here and eventually (after speaking to 6 different people over the past few weeks) got a competent person to look into the situation and sort it out. She admitted that I'd not been given the right advice, on numerous occasions and that no-one had bothered to follow through on what I had been requesting. Doesn't fill me with a lot of faith.... but hopefully it will go through ok and I can get onto the good deal before winter.
hope the hassle will be worth it.Mortgage debt : -£17,000

noticed on my phone that OH had downloaded the £co app and it shows nearby shops where you can earn pennies by checking in. Does anyone know about this / do it?
I pass 2/3 shops on way to/from work and it might be a nice way of earning a few pound a month? better than blinking surveys and getting screened out all the time. Though I assume £co would set a daily / monthly limit to the checkins for fairness.....Mortgage debt : -£17,000

:j just given my current energy supplier meter readings and requested a bill and turns out I've £150 credit :j so that'll be a nice little boost to the coffers.... Just in time for renewing the bt line rental advance.
I've spent the majority of the day cooking, and now have todays and the next 3 days meals (lunches & supper) all cookedhave decided to use up a few things from the freezer before I could even think of an inventory! It's that full!!
Away to stick on a film and power through my ironing.
Still have the kitchen floor to wash and rugs to put down.....but am happy to leave that til next weekend, as putting the rugs down means is wintertime! Must clarify that the floor is not dirty, I just like giving it a good scrub before I cover it up.Mortgage debt : -£17,000

I'm due to come into some inheritance money soon. I'd love to pay off my mortgage but are there tax reasons that I shouldn't do this ? Very confused,
