    Wow flake hamper looks fantastic.

    I'm afraid i've been a very bad girl, i have a few in's.

2x olay sensitive got this from tesco using their discount and vouchers from savvy circle for 6.32 each which i think is a bargain. I am only counting one of these as an in one is for me and DH to share while completing the trial, and the other one is for his sole use, when that one is UU.

Balance me hydrating rose otto and shea butter salve 15ml

Burt bees milk and honey body lotion 29.5ml

Figs and rouge sweet geranium balm8ml

    Monu recovery balm 5ml

    Lavera hand cream 20ml

    Sun shots spf 25 20ml

With exception of the olay these are all products that i haven't previously tried.

I am a very very bad girl.

1 UU this morning: finally finished Max Factor Lasting Perfection foundation, it's been spluttering for about a month!

WIBA? Yes, it's nice and a good match for my (pale!) skin. I have a few more (4 :o) foundations in the stash though so onto those now!
  • Hi All,

Firstly, ItzyBitzy I'm really sorry to hear about your pet, its so sad, my OH's cat got run over last week and he found him by the side of the road, I was in floods of tears, you get so attached. He said he wished he'd let him up on the bed more... :( He was so lovely, a Siberian Mountain cat which meant I wasn't all itching throat, wheezing and running eyes as I would usually be.

February has been a slow month so far for me challenge wise, but in the spirit of men/buses, three UU have come along at once! I've also a few splutterers so more on the way. :)

First up, Boots The Spa Mineral Bath Soak, really nice, had a real spa feel to it and I'm guessing it was reasonably priced but can't BA as I'm pretty sure it was discontinued a very long time ago! :o

Next was a surprise UU, L'Oreal Play Ball Supersize Mousse - I say surprise as its probably still at least half full but has done that awful thing that mousse sometimes does and first of all gone all runny and now has refused to come out at all so not option but to bin, so really this is more a TA than a UU but not by choice! I really liked this too, gives great volume and smells lovely but was about £10 for a small bottle so not cheap for it to seize up half way through use!

Finally, S&G Face Soap & Clarity, I'm totally indifferent about this so on that basis WNBA - not enough particles to be scrubby, didn't leave my skin feeling any noticeably cleaner and not too keen on the gel consistency so for £7 I wouldn't bother!

On a slightly different note, does anyone else 'stash' other items?? The thing is I'm kind of the only person I know to have a whole cupboard solely devoted to candles and I most definitely stash cleaning products too..... :o

P.S. wildy jealous over the Flake hamper Sarah, well done, what a great prize :T

Got my Latest in Beauty 'You' box, so have some ins to report

I must say I'm quite impressed with this box, especially as they seem to have doubled up on a few things (although not the Sisley Cream sadly :D ) Did this happen to other posters or did I get a 'lucky' box??

Lucky you getting doubles! I only got singles but was still impressed with the selection

i had a make uder(why do they call it that?) at bare minerals mostly to see just how much foundation the SA would use.....it was about the amount the LIB sent as 10 days supply!!!

Yes, I will probably use my 10 day sample in 2, possibly 3 applications but then I have red cheeks so I find it covers well without looking too thick. I do love it though and it is the most natural looking foundation I have ever used. I tend to wear it in the week and for special occasions then use my LG at the weekend/on hol as it is much quicker to apply. I am afraid I wear make up every day as I don't feel dressed without it. Just as well, given the amount I have in my stash LOL!

Itzybitzy - sorry to hear about the guinea pig :grouphug:

Sarah*a - fab hamper -hope you aren't thinking of giving chocolate up for Lent!!

    Another UU:

Prescriptives supernova lipgloss - I love Prescriptives lip glosses - they give a really good shine and last well. Pity they aren't available to buy anymore but just as well as I have plenty of others to use from my stash. I can't ever imagine getting down to my last lipstick!!

I've taken off my makeup now and now have loads of dry patches as well as a little bit of a rash on my cheeks, so face now covered in the Olay cream in the hope it will sort it out.

Have also moved lip balms around the bs one by the bed is now in my handbag and the Vaseline one has been moved to by the bed, just didn't seem to help in the hot dry office.

Despite all my ins above i did actually manage to avoid buying one thing, i saw some face wipes on offer and was going to buy as don't have any in stash, but decided that i need to get through all my cleansers and face washes first. May have to buy some for holidays though.

    UU:

Elemis tri enzyme melting cleansing gel WBA but i think my skin is starting to react to every day use so will have to go back to once a week when doing an at home facial use with the next one.

I'm using this in the am and my skin seems to have come out the other side of it as for a while I was getting blemishes on my cheek. Something must be working well cos I am not getting milia at the mo which I normally suffer from.
Finally finished a Bath&Body Works lotion. Citrus Basil or some combination of the name. The matching shower gel has about two showers left in it. When it's cold here, I go through lotion like there is no tommorrow. Think they've discontinued the line.

Now, I know a lot of you travel to the US for holidays. Word of Advice? Stay out of Bath&Body Works stores. They are always doing some sort of promotion "buy3, get 3" or spend $30 get $10 off your next purchase. And then they'll often throw in a free travel size something or other. Or the travel sizes will be on for something 3 for $2.

Honestly the stuff breeds under the sink!

So, now I'll start their Pink Grapefruit lotion, 'cause I've got matching gel somewhere.

I really liked the idea pages back about one fruity and one floral in rotation.

Oh, and Axe/Lynx? When my sons were in junior high school, the stuff was banned for two reason. It stinks and caused sneezing fits and the kids figured out how to make flame throwers out of it!

I really wish we had a Bath and Body Works here but know what you mean about their promotions. We were in the US last October and they had produced their Xmas brocure. I bought something cheap to be able to pick one up and get the freebies offered inside on top of the 4 for 3 offer.

It could have been me who said about rotating shower gels. I get bored easily. This week I'm using sweet stuff : Philosophy Harvest Spice and TBS Coconut body butter.

  • Managed to UU my protect and perfect beauty serum today, no more would come out of the jar (despite it being left upside down with the pump off!). I would and HAVE bought again :) had one in stock for when it ran out.

Used a spray nivea deo after my current roll on was UU. Have to say VERY unimpressed with it! I felt pongy after 5 hrs! where as roll on would never make me pongy. In fact, I think id have been better with NO deo on!

Have caught up with the thread again.

Itzybitzy - so sorry about Twiggy. We have lost a few bunnies in our time and it's heartwrenching I know. Hope Poppy thrives well without Twiggy.

I have some INs to declare - not really unnecessary as I don't have a stash of these items but neither were we desperate for them. It was such a good offer I couldn't refuse! Bought a LE set of C&P and IBST from QVC. The kit is on 4 EP so at least I'm not spending much each time on them IYKWIM. Emma uses C&P and only has the tube she is using and I want us to get back to using IBST which I'll open once all the Boots Botanics Rosewater has gone.

Saw the OPI kit I mentioned over on the Nail Polish Anonymous thread last night and was lusting after it but seriously I don't need another brown colour. So to compensate I have repainted my nails using OPI Holiday Glow which is a lovely sparkly brown from the Christmas Collection the year before last.

On the subject of make up I do wear this every day for work. All the women in my workplace wear it. I try to cleanse as soon as I get in at night as well.

Will need some more nail lacquer remover some time this week but otherwise trying to be good.

Just wondering, what do you ladies use to clean makeup brushes? I was tempted by a Clinique brush cleanser, but thought liquid soap seems to do the job perfectly fine!
