Rosemary - the site's all over the place for me too - The sidebar isn't there at first then pops back in and it's taking ages to load
And - Thanks for the reminder of the PRCP - sometimes we can get too caught up in trying new stuff that we forget to try the new stuff we got last time or the stuff we really likeCan I just declare myself in now for every future thread??
I'm almost done with my list - it has made it a lot easier having things in separate drawers!
My Flake hamper arrived this morningwow
That's BD next to it - BD is the size of a small labrador for comparison!
After first empting the large box!
and the flakes.........??? :rotfl::rotfl:
I sat on the floor in giggles for ages - it was like the worlds biggest lucky dip :rotfl:
The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed some toiletries in there which I will add to my list - but they were free so no naughty step for meThere was also a £25 SpaFinder giftcard which I need to investigate having never seen one of these before
No other IN's, UU's etc - I have UU'd a bunch of samples - mainly skincare - but don't really think I can give an accurate review of them on 3ml's worth
Question: DD has really frizzy hair (it's quite funny - she looks like a proper cavewoman when she lets her hair dry naturally :rotfl:) It's thick, coloured (blonde from medium brown) and she straightens it at least every other day. Can anyone recommend a good conditioning treatment/anti-frizz product she can use - thats not expensive as she's a student on a very very tight budget?? Thanks in advance
Have a great day all :cool:0 -
A desk UU L'Occitane Cherry blossom hand cream WBA Loved this and it made my hands so soft, I do love L'Occitane hand creams I have got a couple more at home but have a couple of tubes of Crabtree and Evelyn in my drawer next.
Will catch up later.
Just editing to say Sarah that hamper looks fab!0 -
I used to work in breakdowns for aston martin (never boring, they have well dodgy gear boxes) but the people moaning about how much money they spent on a car only for it not to work... d'oh if you wanted reliable should have bought a Polo. An old one
ANYWAY The point of that post was to say that I used my sisley face cream the minute I got it... and got loads of compliments at work about how well I looked lol ( we have just had a week off for half tem tho!) and its SO rich I should imagine the sample will last me a little while.
Edit :_ OMG that flake hamper looks like so much fun!!! Christmas!0 -
the flake hamper looks great ...where do I get one????er actually i still have some boxes of chocs from the Christmas thorntons hamper:rotfl:
was a good(ish) girl in town as only bought the Clinique I went for (moisture surge and eye roller)the eye roller is actually the mens version which the SA swore is the same stuff in a different colour so the men won't object to pink!(she had no pink ones)so got 500 bonus points(£5 ) plus the bonus gift of a lip palette, moisture surge, eye stuff, mascara and cleanser.
I also got the laura mercier foundation sample and i had a make uder(why do they call it that?) at bare minerals mostly to see just how much foundation the SA would use.....it was about the amount the LIB sent as 10 days supply!!!I still think mineral foundation is not for me as I have very dry skin and it looks too powdery on me so won't be spending £49 on the starter kit tho did think it was quite good value with 2 brushes ,foundation, primer and top coat.
I did also buy some dr organic rose otto skin lotion.I had a sample of this with a LIB box and loved the smell,it is suitable for the whole body and face and costs £7.19 for 200mls which is a fantastic bargain(got it from Holland and barrett.
I was a tad annoyed in Pia when whilst I was waiting for an SA a woman came in behind me and grabbed the girl about to serve me then asked for the earings I wanted out of the case:mad:she wanted two pairs and they only had one of each,I said the second pair was the one I wanted but she said well i want them both:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:I bit my tongue and walked out,I wouyld have offered her one pair if it had been the other way round.0 -
I would complain too Pia that the girl allowed herself to be grabbed! (if only cus I am mouthy and cheeky and used to work in a jewelery shop) and H and B around christmas is a good time for Dr Organic, er I still have the stack of Manuka honey stuff i got last christmas, (as in 2010) not even on my stash list yet (its in the still to be processed box in my room lol)

DH is going out to gaming night tonight. Unfortunately the gaming shop is closing down.
It's not because it's going under or anything but because the guy's fiancee is thinking about kids and it doesn't make enough money. Some of the people who go to the gaming night are talking about setting it up at one of the local pubs, which pretty much means I'll never be able to go.
Pubs aren't usually wheelchair friendly and they're usually so busy that it sends my anxiety sky-high.
Anyway, what I wanted to say was that I'm going to try and get some photography done when he's out if I feel up to it. The top of my chest of drawers is white so it makes for a great photographic background. I usually have to sit down though because I can't stand up for too long before I lose my balance and topple over! I might get some of my makeup out and try and take some artsy macro photos.:)2019 Wins

After my shower today I have decided that I am not a fan of body butters. I am currently halfway through a tub and have another one in my stash. It just feels too heavy on the skin on my upper body so I will now only use it on my legs. I only have a body oil and two travel size body lotions left now....:D I never thought I would be saying that.[/QUOTE]
Fiasco - I agree. I find most body butters way too heavy for my skin (Sanctuary excepted) so the few that I have in my stash (all freebies or presents) are being used as foot cream.rosemary54 wrote: »I was a tad annoyed in Pia when whilst I was waiting for an SA a woman came in behind me and grabbed the girl about to serve me then asked for the earings I wanted out of the case:mad:she wanted two pairs and they only had one of each,I said the second pair was the one I wanted but she said well i want them both:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:I bit my tongue and walked out,I wouyld have offered her one pair if it had been the other way round.
UUs here:
Essence glitter eyeliner - this had gone all dry cos I'd only used it once, so it got binned
No7 lipstick in Excite - nice subtle colour, not drying, this was my wedding lippie so I'm fond of it! WBA but have another one already in the stash. I'm looking forward to choosing a new one to open!
