My incentives are to get rid of the clutter, find HG products, spend less cash and save up £1 per UU in my SPC for xmas. Not too much to ask really
My incentive is purely to declutter the house. It also makes me feel good when I ignore Boots points promotions and offers - just because it's a bargain doesn't mean I need it!!

I've realises I don't have that much of a problem after listening to you lot!![/QUOTE]

I still haven't picked up my replacement dry shampoo yet and today started using the travel size can instead. Need to get to HB as this will only last a few "inbetween days".

  • Hi All,

Must admit to being rather neglectful the last couple of weeks due to being massively understaffed at work and working silly hours and also having my driving test  which I was massively stressed about and finally passed :j woo hooo!!! Just about managed to keep upto date with January's thread but find myself with 29 pages to catch up on here, will get down to that later.

A few unannounced UU from Jan I hope noone will mind too much if I declare here:

Small pot of S&G Righteous Butter - Quite like this but more in the stash anyway
Osiris Avise face wipes - Nice enough, did the job with no ill effects
Bomb Co. Marigold Bath Creamer - Nice and moisturising but didn't like the little bits it left to clean out of the bath!
Small pot of No7 Essential Moisture Night Cream - I'm not bowled over by this, its ok but don't feel much benefit but have a large pot to get through out of the stash anyway before I start thinking about alternatives
Hotel body wash/shampoo - Smelt a bit masculine for my liking but did the job!

And finally, a few February IN...... :o

Was sick and tired of struggling with shampoos that didn't really agree with my hair and endless bad hair days so bought 3 for £10 in Boots:

    Aussie Aussome Volume Shampoo
    Aussie Aussome Volume Conditioner
Aussie Three Minute Miracle Intensive Conditioner

My hair is much happier as a result so feel at least a little vindicated! Has anyone used unloved shampoo as shower gel? I've been trying to persevere using up a couple of shampoos that do nothing for me but finding it a real LHJ!!

Ok, that's me for now, off to work then I'll catch up reading here later, unless Mr Ems decides to whisk me out for Valentines but I wont hold my breath! :rotfl:

    Morning ladies!

    Happy birthday VALM!

Sarah and Scrappie it's good to see you back :-)

    UU
SD Heart on my Sleeve Dry Shampoo: WIBA? Yes. It lasted me a lot longer than Batiste so it was better value for money. I'm now on to my next & last in stash SD Away with the Fairies which smells lovely IMO.
TIGI Sleek Mystique Shampoo 750ml: WIBA? Yes, see below.
TIGI Sleek Mystique Conditioner 750ml: WIBA? Yes. I really liked the scent of this, and used together my hair was smooth & smelled beautiful :-) It would no doubt have lasted me a lot longer if sister was not using it too. She has said she's ordered her own set (hers ran out & used mine rather than replacing hers). She also told me there was enough for a few washes, but as predicted by me, it spluttered it's last when I went to wash my hair.

So no shampoo/conditioner left. I have 2 sachets which I can use until I finally decide what I want to buy!

EMSJUNE congrats on passing the driving test, one great weight lifted from your shoulders I am sure.
My Clarisonic is due today, I am absurdly excited about it.
I have just watched some of the Nails Inc show and want, want, want at least 3 collections, however I must be strong, cast iron vibes required in this direction please....

I've subscribed to the Amarya beauty box from net month,I was thinking that a beauty box would make a good birthday gift for my sister but don't really want to spend the amount it costs for a 6 month or 1 year subscription for her, are there any other beauty boxes where you can purchase a one, two or three month subscription as a gift?
