Hey everyone. Hope you're all okay. :) No INs or UUs to report but I thought I would pop in anyway.

DH is going out with our friends tonight bowling. I wish I was (or should it be "were"? Were sounds better but I'm not sure if it's correct) well enough to go but bowling and M.E don't like eachother and it's about an hour or so to get to where everyone is meeting up. So, I'm just going to have a night to myself watching TV and maybe editing photos.
I believe that the "was" vs "were" depends on how likely it is for the event to actually happen.

For example - if I am very unlikely to be rich, I would use "If I were rich...".
If I can't join in an evening out, but I normally would do, I would use "If I was able to join...".

That's the difference as I was taught it :)

Thanks Dollypop and IlonaRN I'll have a look at those brush options. Unsure what to do re Estee Lauder stuff, I went to the Estee Lauder in House of Fraser to test the foundation and they were really helpful and friendly and have a list of all the products used, but Debenhams have a bonus offer on. Would be better to get the bonus products but it was the staff on the other counter who helped me out, oh what to do was hoping to go and get the foundation at the weekend as really liked it.
think I would go to HOF and ask when their bonus time is on(it may show up on Estee website actually) and tell them you'd like to buy from them as they were so helpful but would really like the bonus stuff, they may be able to offer a sweetener or say come back in two weeks or whatever and may give you a sample of foundation to keep you going till then....worth a try and if they are not helpful go to Debs!...where you get beauty club points as well (they had extra points last week but not sure if that has ended)

This isn't toiletry related, but still comes under beauty. Has anyone used an epilator before? I've seen a braun one for £35 when it should be more like £60, I'm so tempted to get it. Are they any better than shaving though?

I've never really thought to buy one before, but it's a great offer and I hate having to shave so often! Does it hurt though? :)

I bought a braun epilator that came with a money back guarantee if I used it 3 times and hated it! it DOES hurt, but gives a finish more like waxing than shaving, nice and smooth, and you can buy spray to numb yourself first =)

I bought one to save money on getting waxed, which has worked.

Have a UU to report: bottle of Cutex ultra cleansing nail polish remover. As mentioned I have already bought replacement.

Have repainted my fingernails and am now wearing Essie Angora Cardi.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    INs
Estee Lauder Cyber Eyes Cyber Copper Eyeshadow - I guess I must have been in denial when I posted my INs earlier and forgot this :p Been wanting this since release last year. My excuse is there were 2 left in stock and one had my name on it!! :rotfl:

Ooh - have just googled this - it looks lovely - just the sort of colour I would go for..

Also, how do you guys manage to use up body lotions/butters so quickly? I reckon a 200ml does me around 6months! What am I doing wrong? Lol.
    XX

Maybe you are doing nothing wrong and I need to lose weight so there is less of me to apply body lotion to! :o

I had an epilator and absolutely hated it - it took forever and I still seemed to miss a bit so I had a mohican effect going on down the back of my legs. I have gone back to shaving as I find it quicker and easier. I may have to do it more often but at least my legs feel smooth when done.
