Lady M, I've completed the OU arts past and present too, if you need any help I am here as well. Off to poke round our library to look for translations.
I am doing the OU MA, I think the fees went up since I started because of the new govt rules.0 -
Lady M - lo, would it doth assist ye if we were to all talke in olde englishe forsooth??
Possibly.:rotfl:
I think it's just because with Elizabethan English all the sentences are topsy turvy and the words are the wrong way around (compared to our English nowadays anyway) and my head just can't get around it.
My DH asked if it were possibly the M.E that is making it difficult because it affects my cognitive function and I think he may be right, which would explain how I used to be able to fathom out Shakespeare but now I can't fathom out this!Lady M, I've completed the OU arts past and present too, if you need any help I am here as well. Thanks hun.
My brain is just a little bit done in with the M.E I think, which is making converting, translating, and learning new things just that little bit (read as "alot") harder.2019 Wins

.. that made me laugh out loud.
I've been missing a few days and just caught up. Huge hugs to Asset and Trudi and to all others needing. Trudi, can't believe what your house guest did, well, I can, but they must have a hide like a rhino to do that and feel no conscience.
I've had a few UU's The Clix trial face cream. Loved it, but now on to my old favourite Olay Classic Anti Wrinkle with SPF 15 and this is so much lighter going on. Can't buy again but I would if the price wasn't ridiculous.
Also UU Avon Planet Spa Foot and Elbow Cream with African Shea Butter. WIBA? Undecided. It was pleasant to use, came in a jar rather than a wasteful tube, and had a very interesting milky smell. It was overpriced at the full price though.
The Champney's Spa hand and nail cream is next in line for the feet.
Anyone notice that it's Fairtrade Fortnight?
I'm going to try and move my toiletries in that direction, having done it with the tea, coffee, sugar, bananas and oranges - and chocolate, when I buy it.
I'm sure a lot more products could be Fairtrade with a bit of effort on the part of manufacturers. Original Source's Shea Butter and Honey handwash and shower cream has just gone Fairtrade. I really like this one too, so that's good news.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again...
