Hi everyone, have a UU to report -

Random korean hand cream in a cute penguin tub - WBA, loved the sent but ideally need something a bit more moisturising. On to my last hand cream in the stash (a nails inc one)


There are a couple of things that are going to be gone soon (cleanser, moisturiser, night treatment etc) and I'm planning on going to Boots on Thursday to take advantage of the 3for2 on facial skincare. Will just need to be on my best behaviour and resist any unnecessary purchases!

Britney Spears Curious body wash which was knocking around for yrs in a box... WNBA as it didnt foam at all and its scent wasnt very strong.
OH used up his Huge Boss body wash today too - if it came free with another aftershave he would be getting it... but id not pay for it on its own.
Neutrogena black head reducing face wash - WNBA. I bought it on 3 for 2 and im sick of it. Its not amazing even though its good. Sadly still have half a tube of it left to use doh!

My moisturiser is holding on for dear life! i want to get it done so I can move onto the NICE no.7 one that I have waiting.

Went to Lush today for the facemask workshop that's free with Clipper tea, booked it Friday for me and my daughter having bought 2 boxes of green tea, only to be told when we got there that they knew nothing of the booking and were only booking groups of four! When I pointed out there was no mention of that on the website and that I had confirmation emails, I showed them on my phone to prove it, the manager offered us complimentary facials and to rebook the facemask. The facials were nice but I think I am going to ring tomorrow and complain as what's the point of a promotion and a booking system if the stores are going to change the rules! Anyway I got a couple if ins while I was there a candy bubblebar and a tub of hair doctor to try for me and middle daughter as we both suffer with our scalps.

2 UU for me this week,

Lush Karma solid shampoo bar - WBA when I have finished the shampoo stash, I did love the smell of this, it made the whole bathroom smell lovely when it was new. I might try another variety of the solid shampoo first as this one did leave my hair a little dry.

Winnie the Pooh lip balm - WNBA, I bought 3 of these in semi-chem one Christmas and they were nothing special. Now onto a Burts Bees Pomegranate lip balm stick which is much nicer!

Hoping to finish a No 7 foundation and L'Occitane hand cream by the end of the month

Belated happy birthdays to all i've missed, hope you all had great days!

A slow February for me in terms of UUs:

Molton Brown paradisiac pink pepperpod shower gel 30ml- WIBA? Got this little sample when I bought mum some goodies for Christmas 2 years back, a lovely interesting scent, but couldn't afford the full size. Using my favourite BS almond in the shower- bliss!

Herbal Essences dazzling shine conditioner- 400ml- WIBA? Possibly, if I see a bargain, but again I don't agree with P&G.

Now for the bad INs

BS Chocolate lip butter- last thing I need is another lip product!!
Inecto coconut lip balm- ditto!! I saw it in the £ shop and wanted to try this range anyway. In my defense I did resist buying more Nivea rose lipbalms in there- which i do love.
Nivea happy time body lotion- in the clearance in boots.

BS rainforest radiance conditioner

(Took advantage of a special offer in BS, and I was due a £5 off with my 4th stamp, and the SA was so kind in getting me the best deal- I think they see me coming!!)

Put 5 toiletry items on ebay tonight, so hopefully they'll do well.

Sanctuary Luxury Bath Float 75ml - Part of the GWP I got the other day with the cleanser. Gave the complete set to sister1 , but she doesn't have baths (her 3 kids just about give her 5 minutes!) and only showers, so keeping the bath float myself at the moment
Estee Lauder Cyber Eyes Cyber Copper Eyeshadow - I guess I must have been in denial when I posted my INs earlier and forgot this Been wanting this since release last year. My excuse is there were 2 left in stock and one had my name on it!! :rotfl:

Maybelline One by One Waterproof Mascara: WIBA? Yes. Only throwing this away as I've had it open 6 months, and I promised myself when I opened it that every mascara I now use has to be used by or disposed of within 6 months! I was really impressed by this and got complimented on my lashes a few times Onto EL Sumptuos full size - how exciting - I hope I like it after all the wanting to use it!!

Trudij - if my skin breaks out I switch to the most gentle, least chemically cleanser/moisturiser that I have. I put Arnica gel on the spots as it's anti-inflammatory and calms them/makes them go away without drying my skin out. However, I'm in a panic I nuke them with Neutrogena stuff! It's often on 3-4-2 and is pretty effective, just not good for my skin type in the long term. It turns out better when I'm patient and take the gentle route but my skin is pretty sensitive. Three weeks leaves lots of time for them to heal *hugs*

Itzybitzy - it was really interesting seeing all your stuff. It looks pretty well under control to me! Lots of nice sample sizes to help you find your Holy Grails but not take up too much space :T

Tokkiandoliver - what a shame you don't like rose! Does your Mum? It might be a lovely Mothers Day present?

Willowbe -Thankyou - thats good to hear, i was looking in tesco and ended up coming home with their cucumber cleanser scrub, some cucumber toner and the cucumber night cream - and the Witch face cloths - figure if i use the cucumber stuff in the evenings (cos i have time then) and the witch wipes in the mornings then i might be ok - cucumber wash sounds quite gentle....
also bought arm and hammer whitening toothpaste (in the abcence of Lidl having any that are 45p??) and also a black nail varnish and a white shatter to wear at cheltenham on the wednesday (mikes horses colours are white with a black cap - doing my bit for patriotism!! )

Forgot to add, I have a new tube of S&G Hand Food up for swaps if anybody's interested.

Also, how do you guys manage to use up body lotions/butters so quickly? I reckon a 200ml does me around 6months! What am I doing wrong? Lol.
