Cinema Only Free Tickets Discussion thread

Ticket said 6.30pm and we got there only to be told it was at 11 and they had an empty cinema.. really annoying:mad:

Personally I'd have double-checked ....

Firstly, it's a Sunday showing - can't ever remember one that's not been a morning screening. Not one that I've been to anyway

Secondly EVERY other screening was listed as 11am

we shouldnt have to check everything we are going to, tickets are often booked in a hurry and I wouldnt say I look at the times for the other cinemas, just the one I know I would like tickets for

Email Showfilmfirst and complain - they'll probably send you a pair of tickets.

Stubborn sheeple who refuse to have any common sense but want to claim free tickets because it is their right! pah!!

Picturehouse rarely show their members previews at any time other than 11am, so this time should have rung warning bells especially as every other cinema listed stated 11am start. Why not call the cinema and double check? Common sense really.

Recently Showcase cinemas had previews starting at 7.30pm when they usually show them at 7pm. So to double check I rang the cinema and asked for the start time to be confirmed. This way I arrived at the correct time and saw the film.

If you had bothered to do the same, you would have seen your film too. Mistakes can happen, it doesn't harm to check something if it looks odd or differs in any way. But hey, why bother when you can !!!!!, complain and moan and then go on to claim free tickets!

At the end of the day, the fault lies with who ever put the wrong details on the tickets.

Yes, some common sense should prevail, but, that doesn't get past the fact that the information on the ticket was incorrect and wasted a lot of peoples time and money.

Email the company and complain

How is going to a free preview screening at the time advertised refusing to have common sense?! How were we to know that according to you Picturehouse rarely show their previews at any time other than 11am? You seem to be taking something that actually has nothing to do with you very personally.
