You become a member of showfilmfirst, then you watch the codes only thread for codes of films in your area. When a code appears you rush to showfilmfirst and hope to be quick enough for tickets to a cinema in your area. If you are lucky you print the ticket out and take it to the appropriate cinema and hand it in to the people who take the tickets, making sure to arrive approx 30 minutes before screening(6pm for 6.30pm for example, not always neccesary but it is for some films as it is sometimes oversubscribed).

In the case of aVirgin showing you have to have be a registeredVirgin broadband or Virgin mobile customer.

In the case of a Sky showing you have to be a Registered Sky movie customer.

Also there are ocasionally Disney screenings(Very rare).

Check out the 1st post on the codes only thread here:

  • Had to choose last night between Sky's Seeking a Friend and Virgin's Magic Mike, in deference to my hubby we went to Seeking a Friend and it was suprisingly moving in places and was very thought provoking!

Shame my daughter didn't want to go to Magic Mike as I might have cancelled Sky instead of Virgin, lol!

Magic Mike wasnt too bad, not great by any stretch of the imagination. Some funny moments, some great dancing, but lack of story let it down

Also, if you miss out the it usually tells you what day more tickets are released in the red sorry you have not managed to get tickets, also keep trying every day as many times as you can manage as sometimes they become avaqilable through caqncellaqtions.

7am to 6pm up to 2 weeks before the showing, usually not saturday or sunday. To narrow it down further you have to be the person who actually makes the booking site live to know that.

Can not believe Sky won't give me Sky and Movies for free so I can get all the movies they're spitting out lately... :)
