Whatever happened to sky releasing more Dark Knight tickets on the 9th. Initially it kept saying more will be released and then one minute later it says no more tickets.

Within minutes of the post about them being available, there were no tickets left at my cinema - but I also had the message about more being released on the 9th.
I have been back dozens of times to see if any tickets have been returned/newly released, and noticed from about the next day that the message had changed to

    FULLY BOOKED
We're sorry you haven't been able to get tickets again. The location you have selected has no tickets left. Please check for other local venues which may have tickets available or come back nearer to the date of the event when tickets are often cancelled.

Don't know what is happening with Sky - interesting to read quoias' post that only 49 turned up to a screening able to hold 165.
Another screening which I was not able to get tickets to....

I had this exact same problem yesterday and I was so annoyed as I refused to believe they went this quickly. I phoned to complain and sent an email but all I got off them was that it was popular and that they did release tickets. I wonder if this is true or if they were given away? All I know is that with spiderman some tickets were given away by heart fm as they heavily advertise sky. Perhaps that's where all the tickets have gone??

    Thoroughly enjoyed SALUTE

    something obviously others did not

49 of us in a 165 seater at the start, 47 after about 10 minutes
41 remained after 20 minutes - 3 couples left in quick succession over a couple of minutes ...
.. and just 39 still viewing half an hour in

Happy to give it 9 out of 10. Probably the most emotional film experience I've had in 20 years.

Didn't realise how much of the world was tearing itself apart in 1968

Would have loved to have met Peter Norman and shook his hand.

And it's about time certain governments, international athletic associations and sporting committees, especially the IOC and some of their national bodies, APOLOGISED for their disgraceful behaviour and the manner of misguided involvement in not only this event of 1968, but the following years right up to 2000. The treatment of certain individuals was outrageous and obscene.

Sadly any apology is too late for Peter himself - only possibly some comfort for his family and friends

We had 2 couples walk out as well.

Agree about the apology, really over the top considering what would happen today, but those were the times and I'm sure they considered the consequences.

Also I possibly agree with the point the blonde White american athlete in the film (Can't remember his name) that in doing what they did they lost the chance to make a difference in changing attitude as a reverred sporting figure/hero in their country:(
