For the first time ever at a SKY screening (on Monday night) the QR CODE on my ticket was scanned with a mobile phone to check its validity

Last sky tickets I had (quite a while ago now) were scanned as well..... not before time imo. Hope it stops those who manufacture their own tickets.:cool:

Oh no - I was out today and was going to get my husband to keep checking and then told him not to bother!!!

Remember the Summer Passport/Bookworm promotion run by Showcase Cinemas over the last few summer holidays?
I've been looking for info on this year's for a while now and found nothing for the UK, though it seems to be on in the US. So I emailed Showcase and asked if it was happening here.
Today I got an answer - they are no longer running it.
However they did say that they would pass my email "onto the relevent department for consideration."
So if anyone else is going to miss it, feel free to add your voice....

I really wish SFF would be consistent with their cinema choices. About 7 billion codes for Batman and not one cinema listed in the North East!

Just got tickets for Dark Knight Rises from SKY REWARDS...keep trying i got 2 for Braehead Glasgow...site says tickets will be available today.
