Yes the screeing is in 3D and the movie starts at 7-15pm to coincide with the World Premiere...live footage from the red carpet is being screened in the cinemas before the movie starts.

Does anybody else know why showfilm are giving away tickets for the Sky screening in Bham? Sky overallocate as it is - we just about to set out for the cinema and have a horrible feeling we will have a wasted journey!!!

I emailed showfilm first and they are sending a pair of complimentary tickets and they were were apologetic. Funny how not one person turned up at the right time.. there are obviously alot of us thick and stupid people living in this area that lack the common sense to ring in advance and 'double check' the time!

Note to self.. dont bother mentioning anything on the 'discussion' forum unless you want to be met be with a barrage of stupid judgemental comments!

Went to the spiderman premiere tonight at didsbury. I have been to loads of screenings and this is the first one that I have had my mobile phone taken off me and been through a metal detector! It was then madnesss after the film had finished to get the phones back as people were everywhere. Think they need to be s bit more organized in future.

It didn't start till 7.20, but they were showing all the red carpet stuff. We got stuck in traffic and didn't get there till half past and I expected to get turned away but luckily there was still a fair few seats left. Movie was really good.
