Sounds like a cracking idea to me :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
It'll give pooch and frenz somewhere to have their daily whinge :j0 -
Why is it that whenever I check this thread, which is hardly ever, I always see the same people arguing over nothing?0

Sky now advertise they will be doing weekly screenings, not sure if that is true or not. Haven't checked it out tbh.
Am I right in remembering that you don't actually live in Cardiff despite your forum name?0 -
I saw a fabulous little film called Payback season today. It stars Adam Deacon (Kidulthood and Adulthood).
Now, whilst he wasn't my choice, Deacon won BAFTA Orange Rising Star and after watching Payback Season, I now have a new found respect for him.
Some great acting throughout and an interesting take on an old subject but with a contemporary element that made it appealing to a wider audience than might be expected to see a Deacon film.
Don't let the fact that it is about a footballer put you off if you aren't a football fan. That is incidental and could be about any successful person who has pulled himself up by his bootstraps.0 -
Wow. What a pair of drama queens.
Anyway, back to the point of the thread. Went to see We Bought a Zoo this morning - fantastic film. I knew the story anyway, as I'd read Benjamin Mee's biography a few years ago, but the dramatization was done particularly well.
One thing - was very surprised to see young children in the screening. The film is a PG, but it deals with adult themes that children would find disturbing, as well as having 7 or 8 uses of "the S word". There were children younger than 5 in the screening today - this is really not advised. Think some people thought it would be a nice film about animals.....0 -

I did! That's what I didn't bother trying to get tickets. I just thought it was a boring kids film.0 -
