Ditto. Eight pages on that thread and most are dupes, chat and totally unnecessary.0 -

But those two tickets could easily help someone else...
You could always start a board for only tickets to your cinema? and for the subscription you have? might suit you better0 -

still missing the point there though people are signed up to get notifications for the codes only thread and usually the tickets that they have just returned have gone straight away anyway this is only benefiting 2 or so people so is a total waste of time0 -

Totally agree with you, any people returning tickets could easily put them on here so that people can avoid pointless notifications!:)"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

So because it doesnt benefit you, you dont want the notifications?
Are you as annoyed when your cinema isnt on the list? or the time isnt to your liking?
This site is to help everyone, not just the majority.
If you dont want notifications that aren't helpful to yourself then I can think of an easy resolution...0 -
The clue is in the title of the thread.
Codes ONLY!
Not tell the world you can't go and have returned your ticket thread.
Not more tickets are available Thread.
Not all tickets have now gone thread.
This thread is for everything that is not a code.

I'm happy with people informing us they've made tickets available again0

Hey, just following the cancellation element of this thread.
Returns are just 2 tickets for specific locations, whereas the original posts are around 3,000 tickets maybe?
Cancellation rates are relatively high, but still very specific - the likelihood of it being a cinema you could travel to is very low.
Lots of us have other things to do than constantly check up on irrelevant postings. If there were a secondary thread for cancellation tickets that those who were interested in could subscribe to, I would think that would make everyone happy?0 -

different board for more tickets released too?
different board for each county? (saves your cinema not being on the list)
Or just accept the fact that each post might not be helpful for you - much more simple0 -
I think I struggle with the sheer volumes of notifications that come in some days (the cancellations often cascade one after the next) I could just ignore them but then that cancels my subscription to the thread.
Many of the 'more relevant' postings - Times plus/sky etc, aren't even relevant to me, but those don't irritate me as I know they'll benefit lots of people. I don't see that individual cancellations benefit many while attracting the attention of a great many.
I don't think i'm being intolerant, it's just that if there were a general returns thread that everyone returning posted on, people could search it, or if like you Ben, they're happy to receive notifications for everywhere, they could subscribe there too. Just thought it might be a simple solution to the returns problems. More advanced threads (such as towns/cities/counties) would never attract posters, so would be pointless.0
