    wondering if anyone can help.

I used to get instant email notification's for the "Free cinema tickets codes only no chat" on my work email, but for last couple month I don't seem to receive these notification's even though people post codes on the thread.

I am subscribed to the thread and have selected instant email notification's, i've tried unsubscribing then subscribing again that seem to work last time but last couple months nothing. Anyone having same issue??

Also I never seem to receive instant email notification's on my Hotmail does the forum prefer other email accounts like Gmail?

If anyone can help would be greatly appreciated.

If you get a notification and dont click on it and log in then you wont get any more (this is to stop your inbox from getting too clogged up).. normally unsubbing and re-subbing would fix the problem

moral of the story - if you get a notification, click it

    Thanks Ben :-).

I mate told me this and I have been clicking the link when I get it.

Do you also think it could be because I sually use Google chrome to get onto the site, but on the email noitfication it always opens up in internet explorer?

The other thing that you need to make sure is that you are logged in correctly to the forum when you click on the link. If you aren't it won't know it's you and therefore won't send you another update.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

I think this maybe the case! because I joined this disscusion thread using chrome, but when I got a notification via email my default is internet exploer it needed me to log in again so maybe it is this!

Silly question but does this mean I have to log in every day? anyone know how long this forum keeps you looged in?

Apologogies for all these questions, very grateful for the advice though :-).
