Well, I made a mistake and posted about cancelling tickets in the codes thread. The extremely rude telling off I received has left me completely disgusted by some people's mentality.

I will never post on this board again, and the "people" calling others "morons" for making one mistake one their precious, precious little thread can enjoy posting their codes in peace. I am utterly shocked.

We noticed in the credits that the real Benjamin Mee and family had a cameo as zoo visitors but we didn't spot which they were...

When the camera shoots over the tree they were the family at the front on the right. Tall guy with a cap on. I've had the pleasure to visit Dartmoor Zoological Park, it's just outside of Plymouth. It's been on groupon a few times (very MSE!). The family do have a very active part at the zoo, we saw them wandering around chatting to visitors.

I believe the zoo get a percentage of the films profits, so it'll be great to see what they do with the money! I really enjoyed the film, like others I wish it was a little more English.

I agree. I think some people have far too much time on their hands..

I know it shouldn't, but it has really really upset me, on top of some carp I'm going through at the moment. I know I made a mistake, but I was only trying to help after all. I don't think it deserved such venom in return.

Dont worry about it. I have posted on the codes only board by mistake, and had an email reminding me not to post there. That's perfectly acceptable and reasonable. However i have found that there are a few drama queens on most forums and this one is really no diferent.
There are plenty of helpful people though so i tend to just ignore the drama queens.

Defs dont worry about it. The posts has been removed and for the first time in AGES the codes board is only 1 page long!!

People seem to forget that by scorning people on the board they are generating a notification themselves - so they are just as bad.

If you want to give someone a gentle reminder of the chat board then it should be done by PM in my opinion

Don't let it upset you max. There are some incredibly helpful people on these boards but one or two others seem to find it difficult to be polite if someone makes a mistake! If you find their comments upsetting or offensive, follow the advice from the Board Guides/Forum Managers on page 1 of the codes only thread.
    :)

Ben, Holidaysforme, I agree, a pm would have been the best way to deal with it. I have mistakenly posted on the codes thread in the past and wouldn't have been upset to receive a polite pm pointing that out. ;)

Thank you all! I have put it behind me now. I know I shouldn't have got upset, but it really felt like being pilloried at the time.
I'm glad to see the vast majority of people here are sensible and pleasant. :) Cheers guys!
