Quite a lot has been said by newcomers here about how unfairly they have been treated.

But it's quite easy to understand why they are viewed with scepticism, because it's hard to understand what ~motivates~ them to seek out this forum. Why would they do that, and what's in it for them?

One of the things that seems to have been lost in the huge volume of posts here is how many reports of success and failure there have been in this thread and the other related one on this forum.

To summarise, the current count is that there have been 17 newcomers so far who have joined up purely to recount their experiences.

    So far the count is:

Negative - no TV received: 13
    Positive (or OK) response: 4

Looked at in these terms, it looks to be an extremely high-risk way to buy a budget TV.

If you add to that the company Directors' history of dissolving companies and moving on, which would make future Warranty support a problem, the original advice to "Avoid at all costs" still seems to be sound.

Why is it hard to understand what motivates us newbies to seek out this forum when we all thought we were being ripped off in an online scam! We were all obviously worried about losing money and wished to seek out people who were also having problems with this company to hear how they had got on with them and to share our experiences to help each other.
In no way am i going to post on here that it is ok to order from them as they are a dreadful company to deal with and would advise anybody thinking of buying from them not to bother as i think they have done too much damage to their name to become a creditable company so are obviously going to disappear into the wilderness.
What i will say though is that anybody who actually receives a TV from them will not be disappointed as they are decent televisions and is surprisingly (although certain people on here won't believe me)on a par for picture quality with my daughters Sony 32" HD TV. I obviously cannot comment on what is inside the television but not everything made in China is crap as they make a hell of a lot of TV components for big name televisions (Panasonic even make Plasmas in China) so until it goes bang (if it does) i will remain happy with the purchase but still remain adamant for anybody thinking of buying from them, not to, as they cannot get their act together and it is like walking through a minefield with them.
Hope i can get through to people why we are on here!

So, seeing as you have a TV, do you mind mind scanning or taking a legible photograph of the standard warranty details and posting them here?

You know the one I mean, the standard twelve month warranty card, together with the details of who is administering to it.

I'm sure any prospective buyers will be interested in the manufacturer and warranty information.

Seeing as you are posting here to help and inform others, I'm sure that it won't be an imposition to you. Thanks in advance.

OK...the engineer from Virgin has been and gone and before all the "conspiracy theorists" refer to my earlier post stating that he was coming this evening, he was supposed to but he called me and asked if he could come earlier.

After reading the last few posts, at this moment in time, I just can't be bothered to post his findings.

NOTE TO TAKETHIS: I think that's a pretty condescending way to ask jockeybull for information. Is it possible for you to try and be a little less sarcastic in your comments to people who are obviously trying to help others that have ordered?

No imposition whatsoever, i'll gladly post as many photos as people want just need a clue as to how i get the pics on here from my computer as not really savvy with it. Somebody point me in the right direction and i'll do it.
As for the warranty, basically if Mansion go under you are screwed!

Thank you for your interest in my post. Now that I have your attention, would you mind awfully posting the details for which I have asked.

I hope it is not too much.

P.S.: I really don't think that you are in any position to comment of my style of communication, after your plainly abusive posts.
So, let us keep it factual. Do you mind posting a scan or photograph of the documents for the edification of possible consumers?

Not that the warranty is worth much anyway!
