My DH does that, it drives me up the wall. I make a dinner so it has a certain taste and the kids and I eat it and enjoy it and then he comes in from work and will add a bit of this or that and change it from what I intended. Or he will sit down with it and drown it in Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce or some such and change it again.

The worst is when he takes over the cooking from me and does things to it that I wouldn't and I go and taste it and it tastes completely different to what I intended.

Budgets noted to post 195 - I'll update the front page later

I was having a little think [DH says thats always dangerous lol] I have to write down everyones name and then their budget and then go to my first post and change/add everyone on, the writing part takes ages!! so I was trying to think how to make it quicker/easier and the only way I could come up with is to give everyone a number instead of your name i.e. Helenjelly £250 would change to 75 £250 - saves lots of time when I'm writing loads of names down - can anyone see any probs with that or is it a carp way of doing it or if you prefer to keep your name then that is soo ok with me

Martin's weekly email mentions the following offer:

There is a voucher in tomorrow's Sun newspaper (2nd Feb) for £6 off £40 spend in Mr M for use between tomorrow and Sunday inclusive. Apparently you can use more than one, so if you're spending £80, put it through in 2x£40 transactions and use a voucher for each.

I don't see why this would be a problem - we can add our number to our signature so we don't forget it

Can you not have the list window open in one window tab and the thread changes in another? Copy the name you want to change then press cntrl f to search for the name in the list and edit? Although doing it with numbers may well be easier in the long run.
