Hi all
Changing tactics for February. Will count spends and anything taken out of stores - cupboards upstairs or freezer - but not out of kitchen cupboards. That should give me a better idea of my true spend.
So, for one large dog, one cat and myself it's £100 for February

Hello all, I'd like to put myself down for £450 between 9th Feb and 9th March (our credit card month). Set a £500 target for Jan and it seems I'll be way under it so am lowering the target for Feb
obviously I shan't be starting for another 10 days though.
Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Hi All,
*Hangs head in shame* so the budget has spiralled and its not even the 1st of the month. I am hoping that I can salvage the rest of the month with the remaining £92.43 on the basis I have already brought all the cat food and litter for the month and maybe into March. Also alot of toiletries for OH (I tend to buy mine out of a different budget due to ££) Also brought 2 large chickens, roasted them both off and have made into 8 bags of chicken for the freezer as well as 2 pints of stock. So have at least 15 meals in the freezer. Maybe it will focus the mind now for the rest of the month to try and avoid going over budget.
Wishing everyone well.Jan GC £242.38/£250

Well back from Aldi, Asda and Iceland.
Fully stocked up on meals and breakfast for the month (famous last words), We have so much meat in the freezer it unreal. Had a right big stock up in Aldi. Got loads of passatta, rice, tinned tome etc. Going to start a meal plan for the next 2 weeks. Oh also nipped in butchers and got a really good deals on 7 gammon steaks and a small gammon joint (£4.50 for everything). Used my aldi voucher and shared another with my sis as she only need to spend about £14 but I needed more than £30 so I ended up saving £7.50 in there. The cupboards, fridge and freezer are all bulging.
Aiming for a few NSD now, Phew!!! Sig updated, wow it looks bad but i'm determined xMarch 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000 -
