Hi WelshDreamer - I had a sample of those soapnuts sent through and OMG they are amazing!Once I have finished this massive box of washing powder and conditioner I am converting over to those. They reckon it costs around 3p per wash. I can't remember where I saw the link for the sample, it was on this site, but I'm sure if you goodle it then will come up.

Hi everyone!
Really pleased I came in under budget in January even if it was only pence!
I'm going to reduce my budget by£50 this month to £300 for February.
My hours have been cut at work by 30% so we really need to tighten our belts. Have already cancelled holiday and we are currently paying off CCs.
I don't post very often but read everyday and I would also like to thank those who run the thread. It is really inspiring!

Hello Everyone
Id like to set my budget for February at £200. Will be a challenge but i'm definately up for it. I'm already nearly a week in and bought all of my meat for the month from Ocado as they sent me a voucher for spend £60 save £20. Now im off the Aldi to buy all my cupboard stuff and fruit and veg with my £5 off voucher. Already been to iceland and heron to buy my frozen veggies and all of the months pack up stuff for Dh and DD's. Feeling very organised at the moment.
Looks like i've spent quite a bit already but nearly all the main dinner stuff has been bought for the month. I'm going to try to keep track of my NSD's as well as I always seem to loose track. Another thing im trying for a change is to draw all of the shopping money out and to keep it in a separate purse. Ive got three purses on the go now, 1 is my normal purse, 2 is a white furry minnie mouse purse with my Grocery money and 3 is a pink fluffy sleeping beauty purse with my 2nd purse challenge money, hope the kids don't spot them in my bag or they'll be wanting the back.
Hope everyones well and good luck!March 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000 -
