I love the underground too, I think it's fascinating to think of all the different people who have stood on the same platform over the decades. Sadly not all nice thoughts at stations, still get shivvers going down those massive escalators at Kings Cross and thinking about those poor people trapped in the fire
On a nicer not, I used to love going through Mornington Crescent when that was closed - really eerie. What other ghost stations are there?
Yes I think that too when I am in them, it's strange to think that they ahve been used by so many people. I also think of the war years where they were used as airraid shelters. I was holding everyone up when we last went there by walking slowly and trying to take everything in. We stayed on the outskirts of London and I hadn't appreciated the old, small subway stations before and this is what spiked my interest. Anyway I saw a building that looked like it should have been a station but wasn't and when I asked google I found this link.

Second day in a row, which for me is a miracle. Just to clarify, my allowed spending includes cat food, petrol and me food. Anything else is forbidden.
It's great to be on this challenge as it's also focusing me to save for my dream sewing machine. All the time I'm out there spending on a magazine is another £3.50 or so further away from bringing Ella home (all my sewing machines have had names!).Flowers are sunshine for the soul0 -

I cant abide long life milk for anything other than using in brews (one thing my chap and I differ on, as he always uses long-life), and use so little in a mug of tea it goes off before I finish a carton !!
I don't drink alcohol at all (haven't done so for over 3 years), need to stay off the chocs (cut back on them that much to lose weight that they now upset my stomach if I eat more than a couple of chunks at a time), and fizzy pop bloats me which makes running difficult
I've managed to get to £70.46, but am still missing an Easter Egg as the type I want to get isn't showing on-line. However my chap called into a Mr T on his way home from work this morning, and has said they have a smaller one in that I couldn't find on line as a possible for my 'kids' (who I've since sorted anyway), so I may have another egg to add on. But there are a couple of "don't really need right now" items on my list that can be dropped if I managed to get the egg - and I can increase quantities of a couple of items if they don't have something in that's on my list.
So I reckon I'll scrape in..... just as long as I remember to take my list with me when I go to the gym on FridayI'm terrible for writing out lists and then leaving them at home :rotfl:
