    Hey bubble32,

Could you drive and offer to give people lifts for spare change? That way you won't spend money on drinks and might make a few pennies to offset any other spends?

Drink tap water with ice and lemon, or cordial

Eat before you go out, something stodgy!

Decide how much money you are likely to need and take it only in cash, leave your card at home

Arrange what time you are coming home (book the taxi, arrange a lift, let people know who you might give lifts too) so you don't end up staying out longer than planned

Challenge yourself to spend as little as possible!

Great big warm hugs to all who are ill and who've been in the wars. Take care in the ice people! :grouphug: And especially to all who have lost family.

NSD No. 4 today. Pups went to be micro-chipped at the vets but they owed us money so we didn't have to pay. :j

    Hi Katy721

    Some great ideas there.

Luckily I don't have to drive, taking the last tube home. That's free as have a travel card already.
Forgot my pin for one of my favorite credit card , so wont be spending on that.

Eating before going out is a great idea for 2 reasons... no midnight takeaways and no hangovers the next morning :)

I think I m going to let people buy me drinks this time. Normally I m generous with my going out budget ( upto £200 /month) but my friends have a lot more money to spend (good for them, bad for me) but i will set a limit of £10 max for tonight.
