    Morning All

Our HT is week commencing 13th as well.

So far this morning I've sorted a big basket of socks - everyone now has a carrier bag each to take upstairs and put away - WM & TD on, made everyone breakfast and washed a load of dishes.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

DH has decided we will get the shopping, I think because he wants to play with the 4x4 for the first time in the snow but as digging out has to commence first we'll be a while as both till sat here in dressing gowns. The speed of knots he moves we'll probably get there around closing time. More washing sorted and most of the first lot is dry on the rads, so pleased with that as although I am a big TD fan it seemed such a pain having to ty and do it all in one day. Note to self, need to get more organised!!!

Def not taking doogie out for walks today, poor little mite went out for a play and the lovely white powdery snow stuck to her undercarriage in great clumps, so she had to have a warm bath to remove it all. She's n ow sulking in her barky (or basket for normal people) wont even get out for DH bacon.

Right bathtimes gone so need to shower and then try and find my wellies.

Hugs to all those poorly or who have poorlys

    morning all

been to dig out the Vallimobile in the hope I can get it out in the morning - much rather do it now, in the daylight, than at 6am. Swept the snow off it, too, so as the sun warms it up I'm hoping for a bit of a melt.

Wellies have been brought in from shed and I must check what I have in the car - just-in-case. Am fairly sure the hiking bootsand high vis vest are in there.

Lots to do today so off I go

    hi all,

Just checking in to make sure all are ok with the snow. None here much to the girls disappointment think they are hoping for a repeat of the past couple of years and looking for a day off school!!!

Sorry i havent caught up with this weeks thread or last weeks either, school placement is going well but the weekdays are passing by in a flash and weekends are spent writing up the past week planning for the next and trying to keep on top of the washing.

Dusty half term is week beginning the 13th here as well so will be in for that week house is definetly needing some attention just getting S&S's to keep it going.

Morning everyone, haven't had a chance to catch up with the thread this week. Hope everyone is well and safe.xx

OH decided on tuesday morning that he should look for work, so he picked a few company's that do the work he likes (they weren't advertising for workers). Anyway he found one only 7 miles up the road, had his interview done by 4pm and he started on wednesday morning and so far so good...

Flying wise i've got loads done this week and the house is looking great, i think it's because OH isn't here to keep me talking...not that i need much of an excuse..:rotfl:

Now to try and get organised for this week..
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

I have finally got round to doing the hand washing... It took about 15 minutes in the end :o
Greenbee what are you like??:D If I have something that needs hand-washing (eg the top I'm wearing today) when I take it off, instead of putting it in the wash bin, where it'll stay buried for a couple of weeks at least, I put it on the kitchen trolley, where it'll annoy the hell out of me the next day; and of course it's just as easy to quickly wash it as it is to take it to the bathroom to the wash bin.:o

:T I hope it continues to go well for him.

Can I just have a swift meltdown please?.....
*throws self on floor and kicks legs* WWWAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!

Just when I thought it was safe to get back on the Flying wagon.... my shoulder's busted again. I have no idea what's going on, but suffice it to say I can't even reach up into the top bit of the fridge to get the butter out.:( Gods know how I'm going to manage next week, when Mr LW's at work. It's so damned frustrating!!

This all started when the rheumy withdrew my Plaquenil; but I've been back on it for at least 8 weeks now, you'd think the shoulder would've quieted down by now.:(

Mr LW has been brilliant with doing stuff for me, but it's not right; he works full time, he shouldn't have to do all the housework as well. It's my left arm, too, and I'm left-handed....

Oh, and I've busted three nails in two days. Bet even Piggers doesn't do that!:D

Afternoon everyone. Have had a fairly busy morning sorting recycling, washing bedding, vacuuming living room, looking after the birds as per previous posters suggestions, and have prepared everything for dinner. OH has been busy too, clearing snow with his new snow shovel, like a child with a new toy.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Hi everyone,

About 4" here so the children have been out enjoying snowball fights and making a snowman. DS1 is 13 today and has been shovelling the snow off the driveway ;)

Have made a chilli for later and we have birthday cake for pudding.

Will continue with the washing today. Wooden floors will need doing due to walked-in snow, but think they can wait until tomorrow :D

    Stay safe and warm everyone.
