Whether you have a Citibank card or any other, you would be advised to take at least one alternative if you travel abroad.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0

it does state that the card is accepted world wide in over 96.000 atms also why not get the euro/dollar accounts as I think this is why they are there.
Pls be nice to all MSer's

Well believe it or not I did actually ask Citibank about the card as a whole and they were completely useless with their response.
I thought being a forum I would ask whether or not someone had the answer instead I have seen responses from people who obviously aren't interested in a logical answer.
Don't you think it would be best to ask whether I had telephoned Citibank? Don't assume that I haven't and furthermore don't treat me like some idiot that doesn't know the contact numbers.
Forums are here to be enjoyed by all so if you don't want to reply don't.0 -
In fairness you hadn't said that you had already called the bank so apologies for not being psychic, I thought I was trying to help. I even went to the site and found the right telephone numbers to call so you didn't have to.
Bit rubbish they didn't know though, maybe ask to speak to a manager who knows some more in-depth information. It's a bit off that they just said they don't know and expected you to be happy with that answer0 -

Hi, as far as I know the pay @ pump method has always suffered problems since the introduction of chip and pin ... I've had problems before with a different debit card.
I also found out it will always reserve £50 in your account as a safeguard until the transaction has been completed.:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove

There's some retailers that don't use chip and pin, although there are very few.Kilty wrote:What kind of places do you mean that chip and pin is not used in, I thought all retailers had to use it nowadays
I can think of 2 off the top of my head that I have visited in recent days that asked me to sign; Costa Coffee and Vue cinemas.0
