Daughter 18 when she passed her test 6 months ago, did some searching around and got her a Peugeot 106 which is one of the lowest insurance groups, cost her £1400 for the 1st years insurance, coupled with 50mpg around town and £20 a year road tax, and it adds up to cheap (for an 18 year old) motoring.
