    Hi Keys,

I can't move it from the Ebay board, but if you send a quick pm to soolin I'm sure that she'll be happy to help if she can.

    Pink

I always thought soolin was a man :o.
I will be continuing with my ebaying in order to try and get everything cleared. I think that I will wait for everything to finish from this listing and then try to get some sort of system going. The only problem is the items which don't sell. It can really mess up your system for storage and packaging of items.
On the next free listing weekend, I have heavy items and fragile things to stick on but I'm not sure if they would be better going on now even?
Ha! I'm obviously keen to get the space!

Kaz2904, I suppose it depends on what price you would be happy to sell them for. I've stuck loads of things on for 99p cos I just want rid of them, but if your heavy/fragile items are worth money personally I would wait til the next free weekend x
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

If you put the same thing in every listing the boring bits etc you can copy and paste them. You need to use ctrl and v to paste into description box as right click paste does not work in there. There are more complicated ways of adding same info but my brain is not quite awake o hang on. In description box there is edit an insert. Following the instructions and you can put in text that way. Then the next time you just click inserts and click whatever you named it.

PC is quickest as you get the standard listing format. Take your photos and have them ready on the PC. If listing on a NON free listing day you can use turbolister, so set up a template with all your info on it, and then use that template to list similar items.

So for instance, set up a shoes template, note down what weight of shoes your postage will cover and only change the postage if the wrapped weight changes. Same with clothes etc.

You can also use turbolister on 99p items (it will show the charge before you lsit but the confirmation screen shows that you wer enot charged).

    Morning All :hello:
Well up and and raring to go again on my carriers bags for today - Will be doing them in a couple of hours after Flying :o

Kaz2904 - Yes I have tried a few ways to keep to the system of unsold items and I am currently on my second method which is placing all items listed in carrier bags with sticky notes on with the dates - This way I know a few weeks later if there is still items in the bags / boxes they haven't sold - Then I re- list { I find if I don't relist immediately I seem to get more interest for some reason } So I do relist 2-3 weeks later . Then these go in one bag together . I usually do this if I have added similar items in the same category - like all ladies jeans together - all dvd's etc . Or if I don't have much time to list I just go through my unsold list . So I still have active listings .
Some times in the gap of them being unsold before relisting I add them to other websites locally and sometimes they go that way - plus you can copy the type and you already have the pics :)

I have also found doing alot of BIN on items has worked Really well for me the last few months - Plus then I can list for 30 days and put them away . If they are bulky items I tend to do this and ask the price I want , It is an extra 40p to do this so I usually add a bit more on what I want for the item and add best offer to the listing ;) So maybe you could do that with yours !?!

chocolatepennyfarthing - I use Auctiva - it's a ebay selling tool - like turbo lister however you do have to pay , so it depends on how much you think you may earn on Ebay if it is worth it !..
However you can sign up for a FREE 30 day trail and see what it's like if you wanted :)

Auctiva lets you schedule listings so I add all mine then use that . You have a choice of fancy templates , and like turbo lister you just change the content for each listing so you are only editing the bits you want .Also you can add as many pictures as you want at a time . However I find it alot more quicker to use this than turbo as it has alot more to give and alot of time saving for the extra few quid a month .
You cannot use this for free listing days though { ebay won't allow it } But you can still use it for the free 100 listings a month ... so I usually use up all my templates on ebay in advance for those days and just edit { like explained off others above } and schedule them for months away - then on free listing days I just adjust the listing time to post straight away :)

I would honestly say the most important thing of listing is the P& P costs - Always account for this , after a while you have a good idea in your head after lifting it how much weight it is appropriately without using scales. Second Class or standard is best { as long as you post immediately and state this in your listing to keep buyers happy } However if the item is only anextra few pennys to post First I always surprise buyers when it turns up the next day - excellent feedback gained then ;)

I love the sound of this :-) I am selling all of my daughters Happyland toys at the moment, used turbo lister for those.
Not sure if I will manage 5 bags a week but would love to try 2 and increase gradually, tend to end things at the weekend so would probably aim to put each bag on turbo lister then upload 7 or 10 days before the weekend :-)
