Thanks Kaz I shall give that a try
I am also considering buying items cheaply from charity shops and selling them on ebay to make a profit,...any thoughts on this? Obviously I am going to make getting rid of my own clutter a priorty, but if I see 'named' items in charity shops it may be worth making an extra few £££s.No More Buying Books: read 0/25; Bought: 0
May Make £5 a Day Challenge £003.21/£150.000 -
Sold jut over £65 today, so £115 in a week. £25 are being collected so no Paypal fees, excellent. Very pleased, I shall get a lot of 99p items listed this week, I've never used anywhere near 100 a month. In fact it's usually about 10 so shall see how they go.
You can do templates on ebay sell your items & Turbo lister for all your t&c's.0 -

Some of my business stock is sourced from charity shops and car boots etc. Just remember though that you will then be a business and will need to open a second ebay account for your business stock and also inform HMRC.
Probably best to keep your existing ebay account and turn it into your business account so you have good feedback and use the new account for your private stuff.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Another two things sold yesterday :j One was a breadmaker, once the auction finished I got a message from the buyer saying that he lived local, he would be round tomorrow night to pick it up, is cash on collection okay?
Not even a message first to see if collection would be okay, just, Hey Im coming to your house!!
Ended up agreeing to my husband meeting him somewhere local for collection. DH say's Im not allowed to meet strange men on my own.....
Still, it saves me fees and lugging it to the post office. Moaning about nothing really lolCan't think of anything smart to put here...0 -

I tend to list similar items at the same time so just hit the sell similar button which gives me the same listing then i edit the bits that need changing.
Sold 16 items last night out of 60, bit dissapointed really some things had loads of watchers but 70 quid is 70 quid and i will have loads of relists next time, just need some new listings to go with them now.
Hope everyone else had a sucessful evening auction wise

Nerves on Driving tests are awfull and O so common trust me I know
I still get really scared about driving as in your first 2 years if you get 6 points you lose your lissense and I DO NOT want to take the test again
All the people who want a quicker way of listing on E Bay what about Turbo Lister. It safes me so much time.
Picking things up to sell on is a really really good idea it's what I do.
I have put on another bag yesterday so I have now got 22 items on.February GC £261.97/24 NSDS 10/12

_sleepless_ Thats a shame ..I have my fingers crossed for you that more sell when you relist them !!Well done on £70 thow
skintmum2012 I have managed to get a cancellation for Monday afternoon as my next test was booked for in a few weeks time - so my nerves have started again with worry !! I have a car and been driving for quite some time now however its getting annoying now as all the people who used to drive about with me who have full licenses have this year purchased there own cars - so its well annoying having my car sat there and walking to school in the snow rain etc , so Im desperate to pass now , plus its not cheap paying for tests at £70 a throw
I use https://www.auctiva.com/default.aspx
For listing it has templates and i find it much quicker to use and time saving .
It used to be free but it costs 9 dollars a month now - but Im sure there is a cheaper package too if you dont list that much !! I find the time it saves me it's worth the money as I have more spare time to list items . You can add as many pictures as you like for free , all templates are free and there is lost of ways you can save type . So you can just edit the bits you like and have saved templates for shipping ,add all pictures at once , schedule for free , set a relisting times , item conditions etc etc .
You can sign up for a free 30 day trial at the moment .
I managed to take lost of photos yesterday and upload , and listed about 10 of them last night scheduled to post . got plenty more to do today / tonight ,..and im waiting for a free listing weekend for a few things i checked on ebay last night were going forEbay Bag A Day Challenge 2012- :staradmin

Can someone give me a kick up my....... please0 -
