If you dont go back for them, they will be gone! Put a box of porridge or cereal over the eggs and pull them out one at a time - I went into an express on the night of the cadbury's mini eggs. I had been driving round looking for them, then came across 3 complete strips - cleared the lot through SS till - I had 37 in total, then just left the cereal box in the basket! Dont think anyone even noticed. Fortunately it's not somewhere I go often.

    Nice one ... very stylish!

I went back this evening and got 10 more :D I tried to step confidently and not look sheepish but I find Expresses (well this one) too small for comfort. I like to be lost in a crowd :o

    :(:(:(:(

will you forgive me if I moan for one last time? :o

went to the 'dentist' if that's what he calls himself  he was probably younger then me and more scared then I was! paid 17 quid just for him to tell me what I already knew: I have an infection! anyway got a prescription for a different antibiotics(him and the pharmacist both confirmed the ones I got off the GP are rubbish and very mild! I'm off to see if I can complain or leave a review about the rubbish walk-in clinic and GP in Southall!) but I left there not knowing if I should take them instead or together or after I finished the ones I'm taking! had to ask the very nice pharmacist who also gave me some stronger ibuprofen to add to my collection... also he said I'm not able to have a canal root job off the NHS and can only have the tooth taken out when the infection is gone...
I'm not going back to him!

So I'm back to square 1 :( Think I'm gonna have meals of yoghurt, antibiotics and painkillers for another week and try and go back to work tomorrow as I feel really bad about taking time off... :( Loosing a few more kg won't hurt me anyway

    rant over :o

Don't know if you have tried Solpadeine Max yet but when I had an abscess under one tooth few months back these were brilliant. I basically went into a Lloyds pharmacy and asked them for the strongest pain killers they could sell me without a prescription. My dentist gave me antibiotics, then said i could pay band 3 treatment to have tooth fixed or band 2 to have it taken out. I chose to have the tooth removed.

    Hi elite 11+ quizzers, :D

Haven't posted since last Wed and you lot have chatted away 121 pages, which I just don't have time to read. :p:p:p

Real life taking over majorly at the moment; don't seem to do anything other than work stuff. :(

Anywho, hugs and best wishes to all the ill and walking wounded. Serious hugs and extra best wishes to all those with ill relatives. Talking of which...

It might seem like it at the moment, but, believe me, it's not the end of the world. Hodgkin's is curable and your brother will hopefully go on to live a long life.

I've been where you are; my sister was terminal (6 months) with Leukaemia (not sure which version, just that it was a bad one) and I had the privilege of saving her with a Bone Marrow Transplant (very painful, I can tell you).

Tell your brother to hang on in there. :)

    Take care all.

    OB

    btw. 15 days - no ciggies :T

Thank you so much OB, just what I wanted to hear.

And much respect to you and your situation :T

Thank you everyone else for your support :T

    Got some strange bargains today.

Boy's UV thin wetsuit, in fitness/horsey section no SEL, £1.25
Reflective stickers in cycling section 7p as per SEL
WARNING: the next bargain contains chocolate:
Thorntons Brownie Bites 12pk £1, normal price for these is £1.40, these are the standard size but they have started displaying a 9pk for £1, if you can find the 12 packs (seem to be hidden a bit) they scan at £1. I'm an expert on these, they are soooooo yummy.
    :starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:

My DH doesnt lurk, more if I've disappeared out the door a bit sharpish he automatically checks the thread for a glitch and then comments when I get back about who said what. He does know loads of posters names though, because I'll mention them when we're chatting..............Or maybe it's because he does secretly lurk:eek::eek::eek:
