Moneysaving is great, I'm 13 or 14 weeks smoke free today(Can't remember how long it is because I'm counting in months now) And I can really tell the difference now, it used to cost m £50 a week:eek::eek::eek::eek:Your sense of smell really starts to come back quickly, I don't suffer from sinus anymore, don't get as many headaches and the best thing I can walk and talk at the same time;)I never used to be able to walk at any pace and chat because I'd get out of breath:eek:and I'm not a old crock really:)I really don't like the smell of smoke now, so much so that I wore a coat the other day that I'd had from when I smoked and it stucnk of smoke so I threw it away, not very mse but I just couldnt wear it. Be proud of yourself you're doing brilliantly:T:T:T one day at a time and trust me you'll soon get days were you don't even think about having a ciggie;)I actually forget sometimes that I used to smoke. I am your typical ex smoker that I swore I'd never be, DH still smokes but I make his life hell sometimes:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I forgot to say earlier that I did something nice yesterday too... had two 5gbp off coupons that I wasn't using so I gave one to some guys paing for their shop before me and another one to an eldery couple. They all thanked me and were happy about it and it felt good :)

Thanks izzeyb, I'll probably take it out, won't be able to cope with another root canal work :( It's a back tooth anyway...

In terms of antibiotics I took Amoxicilin 500mg first, then got Erythromycin 250mg from the GP  and now I've got Metronidazole 400mg :o I hope that's the last one I will need...

Didn't try cocodamol... But a good mix of strong paracetamol & ibuprofen seem to work for a bit... :o took 3 capsules of Tramadol earlier and they didn't work! hopeless :(
I have been taking metronidazol 500 mg from the off and have still had to have two courses - dont know why they didn't give you them in the first place. Whatever you do, do not drink any alcohol with them, or for 48 hours after you have finished taking them - if you do, you will be really sick. If you are unfortunate to get an abscess again, ask for metronidazol from the off (you can lie and say you have an allergy to penicillin).

I have just had slurried warm shepherds pie and it was lovely. It does make you feel a bit better if you can get something a bit more solid down you.

It is important you try and have something inside you, it will make you feel a bit better and do your insides good. Can you eat porridge, or soup like the campbells chicken or mushroom, and put some cooked rice in it, or have something you can liquidise into a 'soup-like' slurry consistency. Main thing is to have it when it is cool - anything hot will set it off again. Antibiotics do work better with food.

had a slice of cheesecake for lunch :o with cold coffee :o will try to eat a bit more but can't eat when it hurts so have to wait till some painkillers start to work... :(

took 2 more pills and it looks like my 'happy half an hour' is starting :j

    Hi all,

Love all the pics of hols/animals/food! I have promised myself I will post at least once a day from now on. By the time I catch up with you all it's time for bed or the baby wants feeding!!!

Just wanted to let you know my friend just rang to say she has got DTD on a Grobag, it was an OOD SEL saying Save £8. Scanned at £22.95 so £6.95 end cost which is not bad if anyone needs one. It is white background with red and other bright colours so would do for a boy or girl.

Is the 50p off Dettol coupon no longer available??? I have searched the coupon thread but can't find it?? :o

I went to buy one of these today and the sel was 3 4 2 (ood). I picked up 3 and a sa then come and removed the label saying it was ood! There was one pleased looking lady at her heel!

Oh no, total nightmare,I've no idea how to get them back, but a few years back someone dropped a steel bar on to one of the work laptops(Don't ask) and I just had to take it to a computer place who charged the earth but managed to recover everything. Now we have a dropbox,(I'm not very technical) but everything gets sent to cyber space somehow, so if the computers literally blew up we could recover everything.[/QUOTE]

I'll probably resort to that. W7 does a backup of the whole system image and I back up regularly and on two portable drives! Photos are there but with numbers on not named and in folders:mad: So now I have to recreate all of the folders and get the photos back in them. To add to the lousy weekend our internet provider had a problem from Thursday to Sunday so very little internet! DS kept using my dongle as well! Couldn't even see my GC as they away for a holiday in Warsaw!

But compared to others on here, I've got off lightly.

Afternoon everyone, hope everyones ok, glad to see 3dogs arrived safely, sending you hugs:)Just back from the hairdressers so going to bung a colour on my hair now, so much cheaper to do it myself especially as nice Mr T sent me a £1 off voucher for my hair colour with my cc points:TMy days of paying £100 plus for a cut & colour are long gone, just can't bring myself to do it anymore.
Going to pop to T's tonight so hopefully a nice little glitch will pop up this afternoon;)
