Come & do my packing if you want. :D

I'm doing everything but packing.

List of flights address where we are staying, A4 sheets with address where we are staying in large print for inside the case & home address for way back, last bit of washing, lecturing my Mum etc trying to find the small padlocks & keys.

Make sure you dont do what my other half did - I used to get into a bit of a flap so he insisted on taking care of locking the cases - when I asked him for the padlock keys on the flight to put them safe he had the 'haunted' look - fumbled about in a half-hearted attempt to check his pockets, then confessed he had left the keys on the chest of drawers.

I've been reading on the Virgin website about not locking cases unless you get an approved lock with the US authorities have a master key to & in Saturdays Telegraph which I bought for the Spa voucher it mentions using a plastic zip tie, thats what we'll do I thought till I realised the scissors will be inside the case I could ruin someones favourite carving knife when we arrive I guess.

Not worried about security I just don't want my bits all over the baggage conveyor belt.

For those of you who signed up for the free fudge from Burley, just got an email saying they are not honouring ANY of the sign ups!! Bad business practice if you ask me. Ok they were probably inundated when it was posted on HUKD, but to honour none, rather than say the first 50 or so is pathetic!

Please note that due to unprecedented demand I am unable to fulfil any supplies of free fudge linked to recent newsletter sign ups. I apologise for this which is purely down to an enormous increase in take up of this offer. I recommend that you unsubscribe from the newsletter immediately and you will receive no further communication from this website. Many Thanks,

Shame I guess we don't want to put them out of business but a learning curve for them

I wonder how many partners / DW's / DH's of the elite 11+ also post/lurk on MSE .

I believe Laura Cellos husband popped in on an occasion but how many others are out there lurking in the overgrowth ..

any one want to fess up ?
:D:D:D

Ah yes! We are a right pair!
...he would be on here more, but is addicted to his own threads, and can't keep up with both! (you can imagine our evening's entertainment! :rotfl::rotfl:)

I had another amazing whoopsie tonight-

15 chicken legs, 18 chicken thighs, 60 beef meatballs, 2lbs of aberdeen angus mince, large bag of spinach, 2 bags of beans, 2 bags of carrots ... all for £2.30!!!!:eek::eek:

(this was my lovely c00p, not T's)

You wouldn't believe it- I went in for milk and they said, oh, we'll be reducing it all right down-- if you want to put aside anything you want we'll keep it in the chiller for you.:eek::eek::eek::eek:

My conscience got the better of me and I said that would just be unfair and taking advantage, but as we live close, i WOULD certainly come back in a bit and try my luck.

:T:T:T

There was so much being whoopsied, that I rang our childminder so they could make use of the stuff I couldn't use. (we now have 2 shelves devoted to poultry in the freezer and DH suggested that maybe we should buy a second freezer!!!)

...and on the school front DS is off to another possible scholarship audition tomorrow.... would be a lovely school, but we need nearly full fees, so fingers crossed!

thank you . didnt need to age me twenty years though :( lol
You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

 Charming!

Haven't had my email yet. That is pretty carp, as you say, not to honour any of them!

The TSA kindly snipped off a padlock I had on an Antler bag. Very nice of them to also take some chewing gum I had inside the locked section.

I'd advise buying a TSA padlock. There's no way on this sweet earth that I would travel with a case either unlocked or only secured by a zip tie. You can also buy cases that have inbuilt TSA locks. I think it was Samsonite that I used to have but the ex got them in the split so can't check.

Thanks izzeyb, I'll probably take it out, won't be able to cope with another root canal work :( It's a back tooth anyway...

In terms of antibiotics I took Amoxicilin 500mg first, then got Erythromycin 250mg from the GP  and now I've got Metronidazole 400mg :o I hope that's the last one I will need...

Didn't try cocodamol... But a good mix of strong paracetamol & ibuprofen seem to work for a bit... :o took 3 capsules of Tramadol earlier and they didn't work! hopeless :(

These are the best anti b's for tooth pain, couple of days and you will feel right as rain. The dentist is right though, they cant take it out until the infection is gone. Make another appointment for a weeks time, by then the infection will be gone and you can have it taken out. The advice given to you about not drinking is spot on, although I have had one or two on it, its certainly not recommended!

Its the wording that bugs me on that email- "i suggest that you unsubscribe from this email" blah blah blah

Fine. I will. I will also not recommend your company to my friends and family, and you have also just given yourself the worst possible publicity on the best possible website :rotfl::rotfl:

I didnt need fudge anyway. I got a diet to think of :A
