Ah yes! We are a right pair!
...he would be on here more, but is addicted to his own threads, and can't keep up with both! (you can imagine our evening's entertainment! :rotfl::rotfl:)
I had another amazing whoopsie tonight-
15 chicken legs, 18 chicken thighs, 60 beef meatballs, 2lbs of aberdeen angus mince, large bag of spinach, 2 bags of beans, 2 bags of carrots ... all for £2.30!!!!:eek::eek:
(this was my lovely c00p, not T's)
You wouldn't believe it- I went in for milk and they said, oh, we'll be reducing it all right down-- if you want to put aside anything you want we'll keep it in the chiller for you.:eek::eek::eek::eek:
My conscience got the better of me and I said that would just be unfair and taking advantage, but as we live close, i WOULD certainly come back in a bit and try my luck.
:T:T:T
There was so much being whoopsied, that I rang our childminder so they could make use of the stuff I couldn't use. (we now have 2 shelves devoted to poultry in the freezer and DH suggested that maybe we should buy a second freezer!!!)
...and on the school front DS is off to another possible scholarship audition tomorrow.... would be a lovely school, but we need nearly full fees, so fingers crossed!
I've found the Coop pretty good for whoopsies recently, I got a big box of mushrooms for 30p and a bit of rump steak for 95p this afternoon, that was my dinner sorted:D

The TSA kindly snipped off a padlock I had on an Antler bag. Very nice of them to also take some chewing gum I had inside the locked section.
I'd advise buying a TSA padlock. There's no way on this sweet earth that I would travel with a case either unlocked or only secured by a zip tie. You can also buy cases that have inbuilt TSA locks. I think it was Samsonite that I used to have but the ex got them in the split so can't check.
I normally just put one of those ones you get in Christmas crackers & then put magic tape all over it so it can't get accidentally knocked off by another bag. Won't be taking anything valuable & only a few casual clothes0 -
My DH doesnt lurk, more if I've disappeared out the door a bit sharpish he automatically checks the thread for a glitch and then comments when I get back about who said what. He does know loads of posters names though, because I'll mention them when we're chatting..............Or maybe it's because he does secretly lurk:eek::eek::eek:
Uh oh. Maybe I should spend more time behind the sofa.
Doesn't DS read the thread?0 -
The £1 philadelphia coupon is back again on before I shop, it's a new one again and it let me print one...only trouble is it's £1.57 at Mr T:eek:

If you've had a stressful day and you've got 10 minutes spare have a look at this...the photography is stunning and the voice over thought provoking.

Meeting went OK I suppose, have to go to another regarding help for DS. Had to pick four schools for him to possibly go to incase the education board put him into one I didn't want him to go to, basically the 3rd and 4th were just as back ups incase the second choice was over subscribed. Now just to wait until June to find out which one he'll get intoSPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D
