Evening all!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY behind again, just don't have the time to be on here at the moment!
Did have time for a jolly to T's though, got some pink Casio calculators (posh scientific ones) for 50p each, loads left, some cute woodland xmas cards 88p from £3.50 and two cute little baby money boxes, just white metal cube ones with a pair of baby feet on but very nice for only 18p each! Will post pics later.
Hope everyone's ok, what's happening with 3Dogs' mum? Is she any better? No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I cooked one of Mary Berry cakes the other day. I followed the instructions to the T. It took 4 hours to cook and even then when I stuck a knife in to it was still not quite cooked. Although the caked looked lovely the outside is rock hard and the inside isn't much better.
My oven is a bit dodgy and it was 10*C higher than it should have been for at least two hours, could that really have dried the cake out that much? If not where could I have gone wrong? I'm considering throwing the rest away rather than spend good money on more ingredients if they are all going to turn out the same as the first one.0 -
