Dr John Sarno, The Mindbody Prescription

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mind-Body-Prescription-John-Sarno/dp/0446675156/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1327612095&sr=8-2

Quite literally life changing for me:

Then: persistent RSI in both hands and arms, in constant pain and signed off sick indefinitely, totally unable to use computer

Now: pain free for 5 years, on the computer about 4 hrs a day typing etc

I got my life back thanks to that book :j
Nearly missed this with having to skim read at the moment. Thanks, I'll give this a go.:):)

Morning everyone - beautiful one it is too.

Still haven't caught up but just wanted to say there is a thread on Grabbit re stacking discounts at BHS so there are great bargains to be had but things are going out of stock fast.

Eg pretty set of Me to you nail varnishes - 83p (from £5)
    http://www.bhs.co.uk/mall/productpage.cfm/bhsstore/824971

Afternoon Tea set £2.81 (from £10)
    http://www.bhs.co.uk/mall/products.cfm?store=bhsstore&keywords=afternoon+tea&submit_search.x=19&submit_search.y=17

    Christmas Cake Stand £2.31
    http://www.bhs.co.uk/mall/productpage.cfm/bhsstore/953001

Also some heavily reduced hampers, lots of reductions on lothes, boots etc. Difficult to find stuff on their site - I just type something into the search box (eg Christmas) and see what comes up.

Free delivery to store if you are lucky enough to have one nearby.

Really really will catch up today!

I tried loads of times before I gave up. Something seriously just clicked with me;)I'm trying so hard to get my OH to give up at the moment. It's working in that I've really got him to cut down but he won't give up properly till he's ready, I'm just giving him"gentle" shoves!! You'll do it when you're ready and think of how much better off you'll be. Trouble is you might be like me, I could afford to smoke so it wasnt an incentive to really give up, but now I just think what a waste it would have been of £600, that's how much I would have spent in the last 3 months:eek::eek::eek:

Don't bother with the cheap running machine Nikki. You will get bored of it. You've saved £600 so buy this http://www.ukjuicers.com/bellicon-swing-rebounder-125cm-90kg I paid £2000 for my treadmill and sold it on ebay after getting a Bellicon. Its amazing and its on bungees so wont damage your knees like the springs type.
I have it set up in the spare room and have a little bounce on it everytime I go upstairs. My heart rate rockets and I have fun!
You get what you pay for with excercise equipment and honestly the cheap stuff soon gets put in the loft or on ebay!

Not a good day yesterday. My little DGD whose is nearly 9 months old, had to go into hospital. She sounds like somebody who has smoked 50 a day for years. Had help with breathing during the night but both DD and DGD had an uncomfortable night. Hoping that she gets a bit better today. It's horrible when babies are poorly as they can't tell you what's wrong. Her breathing was so bad yesterday that she even stopped grizzling and just looked at you. You feel so helpless. icon9.gif
