  • I don't think I'd ever visit America, if I did I'd want to visit the Amish places and Redneck country.:rotfl::rotfl:

I can highly recommend Canada, particularly the drive between Calgary (being greeted off the plane by a cow girl dressed in all the gear was something else) and Vancouver. Sis and I went off the main highway and sauntered along at 40mph taking in the views, stopping occasionally [STRIKE]to take pics[/STRIKE] to let the smell out the car from my sisters farts.:o

Out of all the places I've been there aren't many places I'd like to go back too but if I could I'd be on the next flight to Canada.
I'd live there but OH says NO
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

Not a misprice but good price 240 tetley tea bags £2.64, cheaper than buying the 180's also had frozen salmon in Christmas box price said £5 but scanned at £2.50

Thanks for this, the Tetley 240's were much dearer in my store but had a look around and found Typhoo 240's for £2.64.
Also got a few of the Tesco decaf coffee 100g for 88p :j
Calmspirit big hugs. I had a disappointed children moment where DS1 was up for a huge scholarship/bursary for a course, and he got an honorary award- but no money, so he couldn't go. Totally different than being robbed, but gutted all the same, and I cried like someone had died- because his heart was set on it, he had done his best, and he was crushed.

Hopefully your children will have some fun - even if there was no insurance, there may be some way to claim back if the holiday was bought on a credit card? Worth asking...

    Also, for everyone...

if you signed up to the Netfix deal- remember that to get the cash back, you have to actually download 5 hours of stuff in the first 2 weeks. Looks like a tv weekend for us!

    Thanks for the reminder :T

If you have no chicken :) or cornflour, what I do is take some of the veg and liquid out and blend together and return to pot which helps to thicken.
