If you are on Windows 7 then simply open up 1 spreadsheet and hold the windows key and right arrow and then open up the second one and windows key and left arrow. This applies to any windows that you need side by side

It could be my version of Office but I can't get that to work with Excel. It seems to apply the window size & position to all instances and not each individual instance. Works well with other applicatiosn so thank you for adding to my "learn something new every day" list! :j
I don't think I'd ever visit America, if I did I'd want to visit the Amish places and Redneck country.:rotfl::rotfl:

I can highly recommend Canada, particularly the drive between Calgary (being greeted off the plane by a cow girl dressed in all the gear was something else) and Vancouver. Sis and I went off the main highway and sauntered along at 40mph taking in the views, stopping occasionally [STRIKE]to take pics[/STRIKE] to let the smell out the car from my sisters farts.:o

Out of all the places I've been there aren't many places I'd like to go back too but if I could I'd be on the next flight to Canada.

I loved Toronto. Stayed in the Fairmont which was very plush but a lovely treat (mum & I had been in a car accident so couldn't manage our usual of Orlando). The Path system is fantastic and the hotel was on top of a stop so you could literally travel Toronto without going up to street level. We visited a lovely place called Casa Loma. It's a lovely old castle/stately home type place that was once owned by the first guy to bring hydro-electricity to Toronto.

Orlando I love to bits as I'm a big kid at heart but I've always stayed on or near I-Drive as I point blank refuse to drive over there so need to be near the iRide trolley stops. I haven't been put off even though my honeymoon was there and some day I'll get back to Disney and give my kids the same holiday of a lifetime my folks gave me when I were a kiddo.

my unbiased opinion would be to agree with you ;) .

I must admit I like some of the Australian attitude towards life and other things , they seem to have a laid back approach to most things .

Great place, very much agree. I was fortunate to have several 2-3 week trips to Melbourne through my work back in the 90s. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I am still in touch with people I met there. Managed to fit in quite a bit of sightseeing and bushwalking while I was there (all on company expenses of course;) ) I wear my Akubra that I bought there for gardening here and it always brings back fond memories of those trips down under when I put it on:) For me it was the best of british and american cultures rolled into one.:)

Hope to go back for an extended holiday when OH retires:D

Yip, I would go back to Canada at the drop of a hat. Banff, Lake Louise and Whistler -fantastic, mind blowing scenery and stunning lakes.

I was seriously considering going there but mum isn't a fan of snow sports so I would have been on my own learning to snowboard and there wasn't enough shopping to keep mum amused so we shelved the plans. The pics I saw were out of this world but again, it was a Fairmont hotel that caught my eye. Those were the days of no kids and no bills. Wouldn't have it any other way though :o

Would love to go to canada happy think that may be the next big one on the cards, not going far this year want to do some work on the house may take a week in europe some where later in the year if all the house is done.
  • I loved New Zealand as well but South Island more than North island. Best memory was doing a 15,000ft tandem skydive with Mt Cook in the distance and Lake Wanaka below, free fall was awesome. HC did monster truck driving.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

THANK YOU Snap-ant :T Actually we stayed near Salou (Cambrils) a good few years ago and visited Salou a few times while we were there. We thought it was lovely! We drove down through France and stayed at a caravan park right on the beach for 4 weeks :) Port Aventura was a great day out too :D I've looked at a lot of hotel reviews for Salou on tripadvisor and seen some very dodgy reports!! Though my Aunty and Uncle have been several times in the lasy few years and stayed in hotels and loved it :) Last time they got stuck there because of the ash cloud! :p So thank you for the great recommendation :T

Qpr that sounds brill wish i was going, we stayed in a villa with pool an jacuzzi was so much better than hotel time to relax after a long day in the parks with a glass of vino while kids played in pool. Was so expensive for us (9 and a half grand all in all inc park tickets as we paid for my parents inc their park tics) but every penny was worth it, the look on my littles ones face when he saw micky and all the gang was priceless these are memories that he will have all his life .

Awww talking about Orlando makes me sad (no offense meant!) I'd waited years, we always talked about but never got round to booking until I was 17 and in a really unhappy place . It ended up being some of the worst weeks of my life, simply because it's sooooo amazing and something I'd been looking forward to for years and I wasn't able to enjoy it. I would love to go back with my Mum to re-write the memories because it has to be the most fantastic place on earth! :)

And as for driving brand8 thank you for the advice, that's really lovely of you. I don't think I'm brave enough though to book the holiday with the view that I would be able to drive over there and get there and not be able to....if that even makes sense?? :o:o:oI think with Orlando you really do need to be able to drive so if neither of us could get along with it, we'd be stuffed! :(

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)
