The reason we are going to America is, with my permanent other gammy leg its so much easier getting around always places to park right up to the door, American version of blue badge sorted out via e-mail, fantastic service (thanks to the mse on here who told me about it)there is no language problem, & although a long way away any problem that can't be sorted out with the accomodation (there won't be) so easy to just jump in the car & check into a hotel.0

Grrrrrr Rant Alert
After hearing on the news this morning that Tax Credits are only going to be awarded for working over 24 hours a week I thought I'd get my act into gear and do something before April.
I work 18 hours a week (have asked for more contracted hours but not heard back). I do mystery shopping as self employed so I thought I'd get my spreadsheet up to date, work out a rough number of hours I've done so far this year and see how many hours I would still need to do to make up the extra 6 average hours per week.
So I've been going through bank statements, pay slips, web sites etc for the last 4 HOURS:( ............... computer crashed and I've lost the lot!
Oh no, that's so annoying. When you start doing it again - do you have a memory stick to save as you go along?, then at least you will have most of it to go back to if your computer crashes again.

Here is my recommendation - Salou. am currently on orange network...racoon 400 but got loyalty minutes and texts so have 800 mins 300 txt blackberry package and unlimited landlines for £25 per month (plus their increase but not had latest bill yet).
contract is about to end so will lose my loyalty stuff so will go back to normal racoon tariff unless I negotiate with orange for some more loyalty on renewal but last year they were useless at giving me the phone I wanted.
Decided to do a bit of groundword today so went into orange shop, P4U and carphone warehouse.....
Offers.....
orange said ring retentions as they couldnt do much.
Carphone warehouse offered blackberry 9900 (I prefer BB's) for £32.50 a month (500mins, unlimited texts, unlimited landlines, BB services)
P4U offered 9900 for the same or if I had the 9790 they would give me £100 for my old phone
I then popped into T-mobile (their network is shared now with orange so I thought it was worth giving them a try). firstly the guy couldnt do much but I then asked him to think outside the box and see if he could come up with something alittle different and he came up with this...........
500 mins, 250 texts, unlimited landline, unlimited internet (500mb i think that is) for £23 a month on an i-phone 3gs 8gb.
I'm not a big i-phone fan but never had one......but I'm open minded and money is tight and that 240 quid cheaper over the course of the contract.
I'm off out now but would appreciate any comments and thoughts anyone might have to help me out here.
Cheers peeps!!!
iPhone, you won't go wrong with it. The 3GS doesn't have as nice a screen as the 4 and 4S but for that price it's good. It will take a bit of getting used too if you're used to BB's but once you get the hang of it you will wonder why you ever used BB's.
The last guy I was seeing had a BB and I tried to use one day and I found it truly awful.0 -
Hello all, LTO on the sel means long term out of stock. The boring things I know
Thats really odd, because when I saw a few of the LTOs last week there was stock behind them! (unless it means out of stock when they are gone perhaps?
I was hoping it meant long tailed otters(they like to feed on trouts apparently!)

Off topic question (what is the topic anyway?) (sorry that wasn't the off topic question, its coming now honest:o)
How can I get 2 excel spreadsheets to show on my laptop at the same time? When I open 2 I have to toggle (is that the right word?) between them but I want to see them side by side. Anybody?
TIA
Manually adjust the size of the windows so each fills half the screen?0 -
Phew done:T. The end result is an average of 4.9 hours per week YTD. So I just need to do 52 hours between now and April 4 to average the extra 6 hours I need. I know I can manage that so its looking good :j. I decided I should use a 48 week year, that sounds reasonable doesn't it?Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can

Thanks, whats the difference then, are the ears different? I fear I have seen the same ones that Artha saw...£8ish each, as the ones I saw were not in a pair on a board:(.
Yeah the new ones on Amazon look to have rubber bits in the ears whereas the 63p ones are plain.
Finally got around to telling my mum that I'd been accepted for the Royal Mail survey. She asked if they'd send me a new male :rotfl:0
