just got back from sainsburys. went through the ss till. there was a bit of paper flapping out of the machine. woohhooo a coupon for 58p of my shopping. just as we were leaving on another ss till, my radar eyes spotted another till spit sticking out of the machine. son rushed over there grabbed it. £8.02 off my next shop:j:j. son said the bloke had 4 bottles of wine and something else. so the wine was £2 more expensive than elsewhere. now what do i spend £8.02 on?life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0

Ooops sorry my dears got distracted by the prospect of Mr A's whoopsies!!! Especially seen as I haven't been out for the last couple of days. Planned to take the car (25 mins til closing) but car was all iced up so literally ran down the road instead...BAD idea...no I didn't slip on ice but I did find 6pts of milk with today's sell by date...cue me thinking I could manage to carry 24 pints home! Plenty of stops along the way, luckily it's nice and dry (and dark lol!) So I got 24 pints of milk, a gammon joint with cheese and mustard crust, a head of broccoli, 4 large carrots, a packet of corned beef, extra special cheese and apple coleslaw and a chicken and bacon s/w filler for £1.47
Oooh I love whoopsies!
While I was there I also picked up a lovely diamante initial keyring for Mum reduced to £1 in the sale. I bought one for me last week and she commented how much she liked it but when she went in they didn't have any 'S' left. But they did tonight so be a nice prezzie for her when she gets back tomorrow'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
CALMSPIRIT "hugs ....off to catch up ...by which time I will probably be too drunk to reply"
And the best bit about drinking tonight is you get a lie in without kids waking you up

Damn, it always comes at the worst times:( I admire your spirit and dedication to get away and try and enjoy it regardless. I'm sure the warmth and sunshine will be calming and healing for you both. But I will be keeping everything crossed that she's feeling much better by Weds :A
After 8 years of not going abroad, I've convinced my Mum to go away this year :j:D I'm so looking forward to it. We're probably going to be sticking with Europe due to the ridiculous amount we'll be charged for health insurance anywhere else. If anyone has any recommendations (or warnings!!) I'd be very greatful :Axx
The reason we are going to America is, with my permanent other gammy leg its so much easier getting around always places to park right up to the door, American version of blue badge sorted out via e-mail, fantastic service (thanks to the mse on here who told me about it)there is no language problem, & although a long way away any problem that can't be sorted out with the accomodation (there won't be) so easy to just jump in the car & check into a hotel.0 -
Those salt and pepper things in my store the sel says not available till LTO but none there.. There are silver egg tmers that are on the shelf with the same sel.
Wish I knew what these 'LTO' SELs ment! I didnt notice any near the salt and peppper pots, but have seen them on other things and always wondered...'limited time offer' perhaps?0 -
