Ooh Ive ordered the shorter version of these (and a different pair and a pair of slippers:D). Cant wait to get them now. Read the reviews and they seem great value....my Emus are well worn now but so expensive to replace

Childbirth is easy. You have drugs on tap :D And what would madam like today? Some gas & air - makes you feel drunk but the spaced out effect is fab. How's about an epidural - you won't feel a thing but we'll probably have to put you on a drip. How's about some remifentanil - great spaced out feeling but it gave me bad shakes when I came off it and I was only using it an hour or so!

I soo wish I was due a baby right now!
I've chucked the mince in the slow cooker before realising that I don't have any mushrooms, peppers or garlic so I guess a trip to T's is on the cards.
liar! :p I've just seen some garlic next to your cake in the pic!!! :rotfl:

thanks for your kind wishes about kids and to everyone who gave me virtual hugs and kind words.....well wonders never cease but ex has amazed me by having insurance!!!!! 21 years of marriage and he never did! emergency passport took 4hours so they are currently in a travelodge in heathrow and taking a flight early tomorrow. Kids are a bit upset by the whole theft thing but hopefully their short break will be enjoyable and they will forget the horrible start. thanks elite members - I sometimes wonder what I would do if I didnt have you lot to whine to!

My son saw phoebe's photo the other day and asked me was I now actually looking at finding a baby on glitch !!!!
without thinking I said no its' a friend's baby....... thats how I think of you all but better than real life sometime as none of you whinge when I dont keep up with your news or when I forget who said what and when. You are more interesting than my real life friends most of the time lol and I can swith you off when I feel like hiding away!

hugs ....off to catch up ...by which time I will probably be too drunk to reply

    thanks again you lovely lot!

that's great news! hope your kids will enjoy it and you will enjoy YOUR time! :)

And I also feel the same about you all... :D Sometimes I talk to my bf "nikkilala said it's..." and he's like "who?? what??" :o

My tooth is better for the last 2 hours which is the longest pain free period since 3 days so there is hope! :o but I had to take [STRIKE]6[/STRIKE] a few pills before achieving it :o and many thanks blondynurse :A your post from last night made me cry :o and thanks to everyone else for the tips and good wishes :) I did go through lots of painkillers but I can't stand pain :o I do worry about overdosing but when the pain comes back I just want it to go away whatever it takes :o Tramadol didn't work :( clove oil and orajel don't give much relief and they taste horrible... I even rinsed my mouth with vodka  didn't help either! :o
I managed to eat something finally(after all the pills taken) and bf has been brilliant :T he did some cleaning, cooking and even took me to Tesco to get some food :) wanted a T round trip but the pain was coming back so we headed back home :o

off to watch a movie I think if the pain will stay away... :)

Hi Folks , a busy weekend so far (sort of) . Watched some sports and mixed up a batch of Berry Christmas cake mix (folowing in the footsteps of HC after his superb display of baked items) .

Slightly overcooked but I must admit I like the burnt fruit and the nobbly bits of the top .

Just tried my 1st Lucozade 1p super shot , i won't be running round the block tonight .

Has anyone ever had any benefit from these ' energy ' drinks ?

Just went to T's didn't find anything exciting, while O/H was in the queue to pay I said I would meet him at the car as I was off wombling, I noticed there was several screwed up receipts by the SS tills as I did a quick look round the SA at the SS tills called security over and whispered something to him, when this bloke finished paying the the SG asked to see in his bag, there was an altercation and the bloke pushed the SG flying and legged it down the stairs with SG and other shop floor staff in hot persuit, as everyone was looking in their direction I quickly diped my hand in and pulled out a grand total of 148 points :) O/H comes over and says "you will do anything to cause a diversion while you womble"

Alos got DTD on "closer to nature" breast pump
Evening evryone hope all of you are well and hugs to those that are not.

G'day to you as well Jes , I hope all is well with you & yours .

I'm not a proper Bruce of course ;) that title goes to proper Bruces from a land down under .

I'll only call her Sheila when she's wearing her Aussie outbackers .
