Looking good 4p! I notice yours is flat on the top where as mine is dome shaped.

I need a new wooden spoon before I can do any more as I broke mine when I started creaming the butter and sugar together. :(

many thanks HC , I know full well what you mean about breaking spoons , i felt like the Uri Gellar of the wodden world as you have to put some real effort into beating it up , I guess the wise and worldly have all new fangled electric mixing machines to make life easier .

I must admit that during the 4 hours birthing time of the cake I did look at the monitor that shows how much electricity you use ...

Next tme I think I'll ask for some gas & air .

No idea about the 'dome' effect you've created HC , my advice would be to copyright it . ;) .

    Nytol .

French Knickers I recently upgraded my phone, went with the Samsung Galaxy S2 in the end, although I did look at the iPhone 3gs, but someone pointed out to me it's a phone that's 3 years old and would you be willing to pay that kinda price for any other 3 year old phone. Made me think twice anyways ;)

I'm not bashing the iPhone either as I've never actually used one! But I do love my Galaxy S2, never had such a snazzy phone before  :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hello All

Just logging in to report a little find

I went off out tonite to look for Turkey joints/crowns and stuffing. I found sheds of frozen stuffing @ 62p, but no joints. However I think I found something better.
In the frozen Turkey section are Tesco's own frozen Turkeys, small, med and large £10, £15 and £20 respectivly all jumbled up together, with different coloured plastic wrappers.

Jumbled up also were Tesco 'mini' ready basted whole turkeys with giblets' 2.40 kg, in a mustardy yellow coloured wrapper. There was no sel so I scanned it and it was £3. I don't know if this was a reduction but it seemed very cheap at the price, as the 3.4 kg small turkeys are £10. I might put this on the mega reductions thread in a day or 2 or 3.

did you put too much liquid in? most of the time you only need to add enough to cover the food
