:o:oI think with Orlando you really do need to be able to drive so if neither of us could get along with it, we'd be stuffed!
Sorry, don't want to cause you any pain mentioning it again but I feel I should post one last bit. I've been to Orlando at least 5 times as an adult and not once have I hired a car or regretted not doing so. Airport to hotel transfers have been great. Pretty much all malls can be reached by either iRide or Lynx buses but I have had to resort to a taxi when the shopping got beyond sensible for taking on the bus. The parks were all done by bus though again, leaving late from Universal I've gotten a taxi.
Don't be put off by not having a car. I admit that during peak season (and even before) it can be hard finding spaces on the iRide Trolley but it meant I could have a drink, even if it was just a shandy, and not worry about going over the limit especially with the heat and humidty making alcohol hit harder.
If you want any more info let me know as I've stayed in quite a few different hotels, as have my folks so we have some knowledge of iDrive, Kissimmee and Lake Buena Vista.0 -

am currently on orange network...racoon 400 but got loyalty minutes and texts so have 800 mins 300 txt blackberry package and unlimited landlines for £25 per month (plus their increase but not had latest bill yet).
contract is about to end so will lose my loyalty stuff so will go back to normal racoon tariff unless I negotiate with orange for some more loyalty on renewal but last year they were useless at giving me the phone I wanted.
Decided to do a bit of groundword today so went into orange shop, P4U and carphone warehouse.....
Offers.....
orange said ring retentions as they couldnt do much.
Carphone warehouse offered blackberry 9900 (I prefer BB's) for £32.50 a month (500mins, unlimited texts, unlimited landlines, BB services)
P4U offered 9900 for the same or if I had the 9790 they would give me £100 for my old phone
I then popped into T-mobile (their network is shared now with orange so I thought it was worth giving them a try). firstly the guy couldnt do much but I then asked him to think outside the box and see if he could come up with something alittle different and he came up with this...........
500 mins, 250 texts, unlimited landline, unlimited internet (500mb i think that is) for £23 a month on an i-phone 3gs 8gb.
I'm not a big i-phone fan but never had one......but I'm open minded and money is tight and that 240 quid cheaper over the course of the contract.
I'm off out now but would appreciate any comments and thoughts anyone might have to help me out here.
Cheers peeps!!!
I got my son a Samsung Galaxy Sll , 900 mins , 5000 texts , 1GB internet for £20 on 3 network via affordable mobiles, got £70 tcb too. Alot better than any iphone, although the Isheep will disagree0 -
suppose i better go off to bed. good night everyone0

HC I have extended family in Maryland, Penn, W Virginia and Ohio, have visited the Amish areas in Penn and would highly recommend it, beautiful countryside and a wonderful culture.....the Amish bakeries are to die for. Not sure whether they would be happy to be called redneck but my Uncles in W Virginia are happy to be hill billies:rotfl:. The family has owned a mountain side for generations Waltons style, youngest one chopped down trees and built himself a cabin there (havent seen it but apparantly its show home quality), hunting and fishing are a way of life for them, its amazing:heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0
