Yip, I would go back to Canada at the drop of a hat. Banff, Lake Louise and Whistler -fantastic, mind blowing scenery and stunning lakes.

I still want to go to Banff etc someday
  • I loved New Zealand as well but South Island more than North island. Best memory was doing a 15,000ft tandem skydive with Mt Cook in the distance and Lake Wanaka below, free fall was awesome. HC did monster truck driving.

HC I have extended family in Maryland, Penn, W Virginia and Ohio, have visited the Amish areas in Penn and would highly recommend it, beautiful countryside and a wonderful culture.....the Amish bakeries are to die for. Not sure whether they would be happy to be called redneck but my Uncles in W Virginia are happy to be hill billies:rotfl:. The family has owned a mountain side for generations Waltons style, youngest one chopped down trees and built himself a cabin there (havent seen it but apparantly its show home quality), hunting and fishing are a way of life for them, its amazing

Nah, it's proper proper redneck country I'd want to see.:rotfl:

many thanks HC , I know full well what you mean about breaking spoons , i felt like the Uri Gellar of the wodden world as you have to put some real effort into beating it up , I guess the wise and worldly have all new fangled electric mixing machines to make life easier .

I must admit that during the 4 hours birthing time of the cake I did look at the monitor that shows how much electricity you use ...

Next tme I think I'll ask for some gas & air .

No idea about the 'dome' effect you've created HC , my advice would be to copyright it . ;) .

    Nytol .
